EMS Inflatable Square Donut Cushion, Expands Up to 18-Inch, Gray

The square design is better, I think, for two main reasons. First, it doesn't shout: "I've got hemorrhoids!!" at the top of its lungs. Second, the square shape is easier to sit on than a round one, at least for me. The square shape allows all of my hips and proximal thigh to symmetrically rest on top of the cushion. and further unweight the tender center part. The round shapes work ok, but don't have as much support as the square one.

I suffer from chronic hip bursitis, which makes it impossible to sleep on my side, my favored sleep position. I ordered this cushion to see if it would protect my painful bursa from pressure [if only partially-less than 1/2 - inflated] and allow me to sleep on my side again. It works like magic! No pain and no uncomfortable pressure from the under-inflated cushion. I am going to be able to put off another steroid injection! Thanks

Unfortunately the inner seam on the inflatable square donut cushion split and leaked air after about 24 hours of use. I weight about 190 lbs so apparently the cushion was built for some one of less weight. We tried to repair the seam with super glue but it was an exercise in futility. Ended up just tossing the cushion into the trash. If in the future I ever get another cushion it will be solid, not inflatable.

I received the cushion yesterday and began using it immediately. I like the square shapeand no slip coating. I developed bed sores after fracturing my femur in a fall and knowthis cushion will make my recovery more comfortable. Thanks for the great service!

I purchased this cushion for my 94 year old Mother who had taken a nasty fall and had pain in her tail bone. She loves the cushion and it definitely helped relieve her pain. We found that less air is better. Too much air and she felt like she was rolling off the edge. Would recommend tbis product.

So far so good for a pressure ulcer. Seems to work nicely to relieve the pain. Time will tell for sure.
