One My favorites back Teas 👌
This tea is incredibly aromatic, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying it as my morning brew. There are several aspects I particularly appreciate. Firstly, it comes in a silky tea bag rather than the typical paper ones, which feels more premium and less chemically processed. The tea is infused with bergamot oil, which delivers a delightful and refreshing aroma. Additionally, the tea contains full leaves instead of the crushed "gunpowder" style, enhancing its quality and flavor. Just a tip: when brewing this black tea, make sure the water temperature exceeds 200°F for the best results. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for tea enthusiasts!

I absolutely LOVE this tea!
I had read reviews that had said it was smooth so I got it. Let me tell you, it really is very smooth tea. The aroma makes me instantly happy. I collect tea tins from Harney and Sons because they are just beautifully made! This large tin has plenty of sachets, the coloring stands out among my other tins and it keeps my tea especially fresh! Harney and Sons has the BEST tea period!

Meh... **EDIT on bottom of review!**
I have been drinking hot tea in the morning, every morning since I was 12. I am now 38 about to be 39 in a couple of months. I have been drinking Earl Grey tea every morning for the past 9 years. I was first introduced to it by a gentleman who cooked for many many high class people including the Queen of England herself, Jackie Onassis Kennedy and the Kennedy's, and many other well off families. This man was known as "The Omelet King". His name was Rudolph Stanish and I thank him so much for introducing me to Earl Grey tea back in 2002. My usual goto Earl Grey is Twinnings. I love Twinnings Earl Grey because it has a nice balance of black tea to the citrus flavor of bergamot. I recently wanted to try other brands and purchased a few of what I thought were supposed to be the best of the best like Taylor's of Harrogate and this Harney Earl Grey Imperial. I also purchased the Harneys Earl Grey Supreme and haven't tried that one yet. But as far as this one, Earl Grey Imperial..... wweelllll.... I didn't really care for it. It smelled lovely when I opened the tin. After I steeped it for 5 minutes I added my little bit of sugar, stirred, and added my usual blip of milk. I almost always drink my hot teas Johnny Bull style. I anxiously awaited for it too cool a little bit to drink it. Well I was disappointed to say the least. Idk how to describe it really, it just had a wierd funky taste to it. I am going to try it again and this time before I add the milk I will try a little bit of it and then add milk. I will update the review when I do so. I gave it 3 stars bc it did come in a nice tin and wasn't damaged to hell and back.***EDIT*** I tried this again and I know what I did wrong on the first time I tried it. If you read the tin it says 1 sachet to 2 cups. When I use twinnings earl Grey, my go to every day earl Grey that I love, I use 2 bags. I also use a 20 ounce thermal travel mug. So I tried 1 sachet and it was much better. Kind of makes no sense to me but that's what I did.

A Craveable Earl Grey, and Superior to the HT Tea Blend Earl Grey
I have previously bought their standard Earl Grey (HT Tea Blends) that's available from the store and find it superior in both black tea and bergamot flavors when compared with other store bought options. As with most of us, my going out and grabbing a tin has been rather limited due to quarantine, so I took this as an opportunity to explore. I've come to notice a pattern between the HT Tea Blend & Historic Royal Palaces Collections from Harney & Sons. When I compare the HT Earl Grey to the HRP Imperial Earl Grey, or when I compare their HT Hot Cinnamon Sunset to the HRP Hot Cinnamon Spice, I find the HT to be severely lacking as compared to the HRP. So if you're trying to decide between one or the other, I'd say the flavors are much more developed and enjoyable in the Harney & Sons HRP Collection. I find myself craving this Earl Grey each morning, as the black tea is very balanced and the bergamot is also very forward (which if you don't enjoy a good dose of that citrusy bergamot flavor, why bother with earl grey). Worth it to try this over the HT Blend, can't speak to the Earl Grey Supreme, but went with this over the supreme because the reviews seemed to imply this was a more traditional Earl Grey and that that was Earl Grey with some kind of additional flavor "plot twist" that I wasn't really interested in.

Fantastic tea!
I was looking for a better tea than the usual brand I buy for Earl Grey. I took a chance on this brand and I’m glad I did. The taste is great and I get two flavorful cups from each. bag. The taste is the most important part, but it’s also important to point out that the bags are so nice that they make an excellent gift.

Love this tea
Rich flavor in a smart little sachet. Great for a slightly fancier tea option.
