Okay first off men like Zac do not exit. Like seriously. And I should probably stop reading such books because I'm just setting my expectations a bit too high out here. But Zac the adoooorable maaan ❤❤ and i thougt Aiden was the best ever.Read this you guys, if ur into slow burn romances(it's actually really slow with stuff happening only after the 80% mark but I seriously quite enjoyed it)

I always wanted Zac to have a book. He was portrayed as such a good, easygoing and fun character in the Wall of Winnipeg and Me. Zac Travis & Bianca Brannen were childhood friends and Zac was best friends with Bianca's cousin. They always hung out together and had a great friendship. Bianca always loved Zac but he was unaware. (obviously) All of a sudden they lost touch and didn't see each other for years.Fast-forward 10 years, Zac's grandfather is hospitalized and it's Bianca's responsibility to bring Zac to his grandfather.Zac & Bianca's relationship was the highlight of this book. Just because of a misunderstanding, they lost 10 years together. Like all the other books by Mariana Zapata this one's a slow burn romance. The last few chapters of her books always leave me wanting for more.Zac was obviously struggling with his career and Bianca was the one true friend who stood beside him and made him believe in himself again. She was a great friend, a good sister, a loving aunt to her sister's children and a good baker too! I loved Bianca's character, the girl was headstrong, kind, soft & caring. She knew what she wanted in life & followed her passion. Also, the few glimpses about her tenure in Maio House with Lenny & her grandfather (from The Best Thing) was mentioned. Aiden & Vanessa's and Ivan & Jasmine's cameos made me very happy ;-)"I was my own business. And the only reason I was still around was because of the dumb decisions I’d made in the past—financial and personal."Zac & Bianca were funny together. Their banters never failed to make me laugh."If you’re gettin’ tired of me….” I made another face at him. “Oh, get a life, loser. You know I’m not.” He coughed. “Loser? Me? I’m writin’ this down and tellin’ Mama about it.” I snorted. “What are you going to tell her? Mama, Bianca was bein’ mean to me.” His upper body jerked, and I heard him choke, “Is that what you think I sound like?”“It is what you sound like."Nothing really happens between the both of them in the first chapters but the end, everything works out just fine!"Zac’s mouth went flat, and I saw his Adam’s apple bob. “I didn’t like you so much because you saved my life, kiddo. Bein’ around you has always made me happy. Even when you were a baby, you were always makin’ me laugh. You still do. That’s why I… that’s why I’m always botherin’ you. You make everything fun. Everything good. You’ve always been my favorite girl, kiddo. Hands down.”"Bibi?” “Yes, Snack Pack?” “Are you gonna ask if I’m sure I’m crazy about you?” This idiot. That finally had me digging in deep to figure out how I felt.“No, I wasn’t planning on it. Why wouldn’t you be?” I joked.Overall this is a good book, I would definitely recommend reading it!

Story is good but tooooooo lengthy
Good story but it’s tooooooo lengthy... Half of through I was bored and skipped many sections... Also YouTube and Instagram is mentioned as WatchTube and Picturegram which was annoying coz it was as plain as day what the author meant yet used a fake name.

Hands down
Mariana Zapata is my anchor in a stormy sea.Her books are like plasters for my wounds and mood, their glue holds everything together indestructibly. The story of Zac and Bianca is a beautiful, sweet story that takes its time, as well as every book by Zapata.Because by now we know, as she writes slow burn, no one ever. This is why she is the undisputed Queen of slow burn.I can't wait to immerse myself in the pages of another Mariana Zapata story.

I shouldn’t read so fast damn it
I love most of Mariana Zapata’s books, and I loved this one as well. I’ve had it in my to-read list for a while and I didn’t want to read it because then I’d have to wait a long time for the next :( I love her writing, it can be read as a stand-alone but it’s fun to read about characters and places from other books, it took me a while to remember who Zac was on “The wall of Winnipeg”. Now I just have to impatiently wait for her next book

Another great book
With some writers, if you read one book, you've read them all. But not with Mariana Zapata. Her books get better with practice. You can clearly see the difference in the newer books. They show an author who's maturing. And I love that about her. This book is about Zac and Bianca, and I've been curious about both characters since they first appeared in other books. And it was very nice to read their story.

Another story that I loved very much of this writer
Let me start by saying two things:1 - I LOVED, LOVED this book!2 - Don’t make the same mistake of me and start reading this book on a weekday (unless it’s your holiday). Because I started it Monday evening and let just say that I missed some sleep this week.Mariana Zapata is one of my favourite writers, so when I discovered that a new book was coming out, I was really excited about it! And I became even more excited when I read that it would be about a football player again. I love her ‘sport’ books (although those stories are more about the interactions between people and less about the games itself). But I must also confess that I was a bit nervous when I discovered that the main male character was Zac Travis, who was a secondary character in the story ‘The wall of Winnipeg and me’. I loved Zac in that book, he was fun, friendly and a great friend but I wasn’t sure about him as a main character. But I shouldn’t have doubted Mariana Zapata for one second, because she did it again. She let me fall in love with one of her stories.I’m so happy that this writer writes ‘big’ books because this was one of those stories where I couldn’t put it down (but sadly I had to work too) but where I also wanted it to never to end (because I was enjoying it so much).Zac was a great character, yes he wasn’t grumpy or quiet like some other main male characters in other books but he was strong, encouraging, honest and dependable in his own way. He had a playful, kind and sensitive side but also a very stubborn and protective side. I liked Bianca also very much, she also had a playful and sensitive side and also a big and gentle heart. Because of things that had happened in the past, she missed some confidence and was a bit unsure but I liked that too about her. The interaction between Bianca and Zac was very funny but also emotional and that goes for whole the story. This was really a story that had both fun and emotions in balance.I liked the interaction between Bianca and her family (sister and cousin) also very much. It was sometimes crazy of the top but I loved it. You could always feel the love and the trust between them. That was wonderful to feel.Again the story is told from one POV (Bianca’s) and for new readers, this is a slow burn story and if you’re looking for a story with a lot of steamy sex scenes than skip this book. Because although there is one hot sex scene in it, it’s at the end of the story. It’s like I said a very slow burn story.I’m very glad that we got an epilogue at the end of the story. I always love that.

Hands down awesome read
There are very few authors that I can click" buy now" without reading a synopsis or teaser. Mariana Zapata falls into that category. She is that awesome. This book, hands down, had me doing happy dances. It is me holding my breath a couple of times. I love how almost of her books gave ctoss references to other characters in her other books. This book doesn't disappoint. I eont spoil it but it had characters from my very first book of hers, and my favorite! This book is about Zac Travis. Big Texas. Quarterback. Played with 100 hundred with another character . Such a damn good read !! Slow burn romance?? Oh yeah
