Q: I've purchased several other jose maran products & the smell is terrible! does this item smell bad? and is this "authentic"?

Any products purchased from sunmoon1 are 100% authentic. I don't notice a bad smell with the product, but everyone's sense of smell is different.

Q: what type of results can one expect from using this product?

I use this only under my eyes. I think it has reduced the look of my lines and crows feet

Q: I have had this product in the back of my medicine cabinet for a year+. what is the shelf life? what happens to it as it gets older? should i toss it?

On the box it has 12M which means that the product is good for about 12 months once it is in use. Usually, if the product has not been opened, it can last a while before the one year of use begins. When the product goes bad it will separate and be more watery on the bottom with more solid like white at the top. If the product is still milky and smooth it is most likely fine.

Q: Is this meant as for nighttime? How much do you use for one application? How long does 1 ounce last?

You definitely use this at night. Night time is when the skin rejuvenates and the Milk helps boost this process. 1 oz lasts (first) bottle about 6 weeks because you see such a difference, our tendency is to apply more, we soon see that is not necessary if we follow with Josie's other products. I use it both morning and night. I use two drops and it lasts 2 months realistically.
