I purchased these in January, had an issue with the size on the original order since I was new at purchasing curtains, the company was not only quick to assist me with the return but actually helped me and figuring out the proper size I needed for my window. Since I live in an apartment I am not able to drill holes, so had to rely on nono brackets, due to that, there's still light that escapes from the top and sides, but honestly, if I could install them the way they were meant to be installed, these would definitely black out all light. I even did the flashlight test with my son and he was amazed at how good these were. These are a must to have if you need to darken a room.

These are true blackout curtains. I purchased another set from the T big box store but their blackout curtains are more room darkening than true blackout (see first picture). The first picture shows T’s “blackout” curtains on the right and these are on the left. I went ahead and bought another set. I will try them in beige and see if they work with a lighter color. I got 2 sets size 42x63 in black for two windows that are 55x60. The second pic is both sets of these. The picture seems brighter than the room actually is. There is very minimal light coming into the room. The curtains are pretty thick and have a few wrinkles I can live with.

I guess I never knew what I was missing. First set of blackout curtains bought on a lark. The price was right, the color looks good, and they keep 100% of light out (if you buy them with enough width and length). I don't know how they launder, knowing me (a guy) they will probably never seen a washer or dry cleaner. But the room is noticeably cooler temp wise and this was the hottest room in the house getting afternoon sun everyday, no light comes through, my dogs sleep in later in the dark - and they soften the sound overall in the room. My wife hates my affinity for dark rooms and TV watching, but the room has a TV and bed in it and these curtains make it great. I needed a set of these 20 years ago to be honest.

I cannot say enough how great these curtains are! I have bought several sets and absolutely love these, even for small windows! I love the size as they cover a big are and are wide! I use them on French doors, open areas and regular windows and they are versatile and look great. The color has lasted and they do darkens the room when closed. Would purchase again and again and have :). Best curtain purchases I have made.

Living in Arizona with the high heat I was seeking a blackout curtain to help keep the house cooler this summer. These curtains hit a home run! I really like the microfiber fabric. Not only do they look good but they do the job for which I purchase them.I originally bought a pair of curtains for my living room window and they were so good that I purchased a second pair for my sliding glass door.

I ordered white...always iffy, but these do a decent job keeping out the light. To that end, the only light that comes through is along the edges and where the grommets are. I did order them floor to ceiling to minimize where the light could get through. I'm happy with them and would order them again.Note: They've been hanging up for about two months now and the wrinkles from shipping are still there. Plan on dealing with stubborn wrinkles if you want the curtains to look/be smooth. Mine are in the bedroom so it doesn't bother me much. I would have to figure it out if they were in a front room.

I used to have sheer curtain panels in my daughter's room and naptime and bedtime were a little rough because the sunlight would be coming in during naptime, and the sunlight would come in the room in the early morning. So I purchased these curtain panels and they were definitely a game changer. The sunlight stays out and makes naptime and bedtime alot smoother! Definitely worth your money!!

Bought the beige with black backing, and, wow, I can finally sleep. Started losing sleep about a year ago, but these now keep our bedroom dark enough for me to sleep through the entire night. I used to wake up at 1:00 or 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. and could not get back to sleep, but now I don't even wake up at those times. I highly recommend these blackout drapes. We had to iron them when they first arrived, but they look great and have excellent quality. :)))

I have a very old house with drafty windows. These curtains will keep the cold out and also, block out almost all of the light.They hang very nice on the rod.

Very good material. Fully blockout light and I can finally sleep better because the noise level from outside the house is well muffled. I am definitely going to order another set.

I bought them for my kids room but unfortunately i had to return them as they weren’t wide enough to cover the whole wall. Looked very luxurious and very high quality. I loved the velvety feeling of it and I also loved the color. I wish they had them in 90inch width size.
