Chop and flip without getting burned
The Chopula definitely solves a few everyday cooking problems. The curve of the handle and the shape of the head allow you to chop and flip food without having to press your hand too close to the pan, and any feature that conveniently makes life safer can only be a good thing. It also has an impressive heat resistance that allows it to rest comfortably on the side of the pan without melting, unlike many other spatulas. The head of the Chopula does indeed sit up from the work surface, which sounds great, although in practice I’m not sure what value it brings. I say this because, when the spatula is wet, it will drip downwards regardless of whether or not it touches the surface. A nice idea, nonetheless.I have to admit I wasn’t keen on the feel of the handle. There is something a little scratchy about the plastic that, ergonomically, just didn’t feel right to me.However, notwithstanding a couple of areas for improvement, it’s a solid product and undoubtedly a step up from the bog standard spatula.

Useful
Very handy addition to the spatula pot. From lifting newly baked biscuits to flipping bacon - so many uses .Love the kink in the handle which keeps the mess off my worktop.

Brilliant Flipper
My favourite cooking implement. It's well made and sturdy and large enough to effectively flip pancakes or fishcakes and so on. The flexibility of the head means you don't have to contort yourself to slide it under the food in the pan. And the little bump for resting it cleanly on the worksurface is great. I have several Dreamfarm utensils and they are all really well designed and thought out.

Functional design
Great tool. You can press down on the edge and it flexes with the right amount of rigidity to get under those pesky fried eggs that are starting to stick to the pan. It goes to show that even the most mundane tool benefits from clever design.

Perfect
Bought this for turning my scotch pancakes and lifting my cookies when baking, perfect. My new go to utensil. Even thin enough to use as a spatula.
