I used this in my Forest River RV, just above our master bed there is an outlet, kind of pointless as you'd be sleeping with with wires hanging down and laying on the bed. Bought this to create a shelf above the outlet for my cellphone and a small led usb light for reading in bed.While the concept is great, the product is not universal, and unless you have a large outlet cover, it doesn't get pinched between the wall and the cover properly. In my case, the outlets of the RV looks to be a standard unit, but has a snap on wallplate with no screws and is a bit too small to really cinch down this shelf.Luckily, I had another wall plate cover that also snapped onto the old house outlet (square, newer style wall plate), so I drilled two small holes in it where it matched up to two small holes on the outlet in the RV, guessing that was an optional cover for that type of outlet. Using the two screws that was provided with the shelf, I screwed it down to the outlet and that was enough to capture the shelf, so it worked out okay for me, but it really should be shipped with a wall cover that FITS the shelf properly! This would have eliminated any issues whatsoever with the installation.The other alternative would be to create this shelf with a smaller opening so that all screw-type wallplates would work with this shelf, as the opening is just a quarter inch too wide on all sides.Overall, happy with the product, just wish it was a bit more complete as a kit.

Normally I don’t bother to write reviews however I wish someone would have mentioned this before I purchased these, so I’ll do so now. The picture is misleading. The black color in the pics looks matte black however it is not. It’s a shiny, cheap looking plastic black. Had I known this I would have ordered white and attempted to paint them to blend in with the wall color instead. Now I’m going to have to try and find a paint that will work to cover the black but I may have to return them. Also, the outlet cover has to be larger than the standard size if you want to cover the ugly edges like the picture shows.

Wish it fit echo products better. I ended up using a heat gun to reshape the sides a bit. I couldn't put it the other way because the cabinets where in the way

Great price drop and glad I purchased. I installed this outlet shelf in the restroom in probably less than a minute. I bought it for one of our Alexas so my husband and I can enjoy listening to the radio or music while grooming. The only thing, we have to get accustomed to avoid knocking off the echo dot when turning the light switch on. We installed it near the door where the light switch and outlet combo is. Hopefully, the location works out since it's near the mirror and sink.

Happy with this purchase. I placed both in different bathrooms and they are perfect for smaller items. Very sturdy and stays in place. It comfortably holds several items and there is no chance of it bending or breaking even under the weight of a couple of full bottles of toiletries.

Love this shelf as it will keep my tooth brush off my vanity top. I am also not worried of my brush getting splashed when visitors wash their hands.

This is a decent product with a simple design. The only issue I have is it's price-point. This would be a nice little shelf to have in every bedroom if it weren't $12 a pop. It met my tiny living needs in my RV, but I doubt I buy any more at its current price.

Works .. you get what you paid for .. looks cheap but it does the job
