Ande Monofilament Line (Clear, 12 -Pounds Test, 1/4# Spool)

Ande was the first line I bought with my grass cuttin' money here in the coastal central Florida sun when I was like a middle schooler in the early sixties. I have used other stuff 'cause stores were out of Ande clear 8#. I use 6#, 8#, +12# but Mostly 8# for all these years. It is still my go to. I mostly fish with a 7M mirro-lure or free line/with a #1 gold hook/ a live shrimp. Line twist has never been a problem. Knot slip has never been a problem either, nor has price. I think braid should go the way of stainless hooks.I'm a Mono man and ANDE IS BEST

I've used Ande Premium monofilament for about 35 years in the clear and pink. It's hard to tell if one color is truly more productive than another, but I tend to use the clear in freshwater and lean slightly more towards the pink in saltwater. I've more recently started using Ande Back Country (blue) mono and am really liking it a lot. Ande mono is strong and tough with exceptionally good knot strength. It might be the best all around line I know of. I buy it in the 1000 yd spools and have used it on spinning reels, baitcasters, and conventional saltwater reels. I also use it for leaders on my larger fly reels when fishing for big stripers.

Andy line has always been dependable strong.

Thought this was the bigger spool. All good though. This is my go to line brand.

Ande has never failed me, fresh or salt water. Has been my go to line since the late 70's. This was my first purchase of this on Amazon, same great line.
