Shatter-Proof Polycarbonate Backboard & Rim Combo

my original which was a bit bigger and heavier (not sure why) it got clown over and cracked the backboard. I got this and was able to save the rest of the basket saving me a ton, it is smaller by a few inches making it lighter and less likely to blow over again. With the supplied hardware I was able to install with no issues and quite easily. I recommend for any portable basketball set up.

This backboard sadly did not work for my backboard lift system, but I really wish it had. The polycarbonate is beautifully clear and sparkling, the red lining looks really good and definite, the hoop is high quality, and the frame is all-metal instead of the plastic that dominates replacement backboards and hoop systems these days. Definitely a quality buy! Returning when it didn't work out was easy. I just dropped it off in the original box at the UPS Store nearby.

Seems to be working order and still looks good outside after a year, install was easy to mount on my old stand but you should have 2 people for installation. Instructions were fairly easy to use.

I installed this as a replacement and installed in the spring of 2022. It broke recently for no good reason. In other words, my daughter hit it with a basketball and a 9" x 12" piece fell out. Possibly I'm wrong, but I expected a little longer useful life for the money. To the mfg credit, it is advertised as shatterproof, and it did not shatter. A big piece just fell out of it. Until the moment that it surprisingly broke, I thought it was a solid piece of equipment.

This backboard fits perfectly on our permanent pole. The kids love it especially because we can easily adjust the height

After just over a year of occasional use, 10 year old was shooting free throws and a huge chunk of the backboard fekk out and left a big hole. Not worth the money!

A little after a year, it broke. And this was only used occasionally.
