Lilac... A brilliant masterpiece ❤️
"𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚗𝚘 𝚌𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚢 𝚘𝚋𝚜𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝙱𝚛𝚊𝚡𝚝𝚘𝚗 𝙵𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚜𝚌𝚊 𝙵𝚊𝚠𝚗."Holy moly! Lilac by sweeps you off like a storm. I have read hundreds of reverse harem novels, but this beauty... It gave me a serious bookish hangover. I had to take a mini break of 48 hours to get over the basic emotions running rampant inside of me. Each character was written, molded to perfection. The story gets interesting with each page; the push and pull between them was like a magnetic force. Braxton aka Baby Fawn was simply perfect. A goddess. And her three knights? For the first time, I had difficulty choosing my favorite. Generally, in reverse harems, I become biased. But here, I awaited each of their presences like a moth! Loren, the flirt; Jericho, the gentle and the most caring guy; and Houston, the mother hen and the most intimidating guy of the group. The pair of four did things to my heart and mind that I can not forget easily. Reid, curse you! My expectations have suddenly skyrocketed, and the fact that I am already married doesn't help even a bit! You bloody storyteller! One of these days, I am kidnapping you and storing you in my dungeon, for sure. LILAC is a cunningly seductive rockstar romance, reverse harem, and a standalone by B.B. Reid. I couldn't help but wish my rating scale had a 1000 stars for this. Even that wouldn't do justice to the story...*drops mic*

an unconventional love story that wrecked my heart.
Trust B.B. Reid and give in to the temptation called Lilac. This reverse harem rockstar romance was an explosive, edgy and enticing experience. It was an enthralling journey of love, sex, passion, redemption and hope. It was all about flawed, chaotic, messy and overwhelming emotions from B.B. Reid's pen those tore me apart and then put the pieces back together.Braxton Fawn has been selected by Savant Records as the new guitarist of Bound, the super popular rock band after their guitarist had an unfortunate death. Jericho Noble, Loren James and Houston Morrow seem to be falling apart but they won't easily let her in. She has an uphill battle of keeping the band and her heart and her body together.I loved how complex the characters of this book are. Each has complicated and dark pasts. Each has demons chasing them. And the story was about slaying their inner monsters and falling in love with self first before falling in love with each other. Now three arrogant, sexy bad boy rockstars are a bit too much to handle for me (not for Braxton, obviously). Houston is the control lover. He needs to dictate and direct everything in his way and Braxton is shredding every last piece of his control. Loren is the easy going, hot headed and impulsive one. He is too busy to show everyone that he doesn't care about anyone and he doesn't need anyone, not even his best friends. But Braxton is going to fall for his charm and sexy smirks. She will make him face real emotions and accept them. Last but not the least, Jericho aka Rich is probably the most intricate character of them all. He has a secret. He was used and betrayed and hurt. He is the calm before the storm. And once Braxton broke down his walls, there is complete destruction. She is the epitome of courage, inspiration, fierceness and unconditional love. She glued all the broken pieces together even when her past has filled her with shame and guilt. She is BOUND. The chemistry is mindblowing. Just epic. I am not even talking about those dirty, filthy, pervert, depraved and super duper hot sex scenes. I am talking about their connections. That burns and sizzles and cut and bleed. My heart was a lost cause.Lilac by B.B. Reid was an unconventional love story that wrecked my heart. Her precious and brilliant writing made me feel every single steamy, angsty, heartaching and soulful feel.I reviewed an early copy voluntarily

unique unconventional RH
My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Type: StandaloneGenre: Contemporary Romance Fiction, Reverse HaremNarration: Multiple point of viewPrimary Characters: Jericho Noble, Loren James, Houston Morrow & Braxton FawnI have been a BB’s fan from the time I read “Fear Me”. I was slightly skeptical when I read the blurb. I was thinking I may not like this but this definitely blew all my inhibitions. I was totally glued to this from initial page. When Braxton Fawn gets an opportunity to play guitar in the popular band she jumps and grabs it. But the other 3 members of the band are not open to welcome new person in the team. Even when Bound is in desperate need of new guitarist they are not ready to accept new member. They try to make her as miserable as possible but Braxton gives back equally. Totally loved how Braxon stood against boys and the way she demanded respect.I loved different characteristics of all four. They are complex and different. Houston is control freak. He is not ready to budge and take others orders. Loren is charming, dominating and acts careless. Jericho (Rich) is calm before the storm. Braxton is feisty, strong and demands respect. With all 4 different characteristics, the dynamics between this quartet is so revitalizing. This book is lengthier than normal one. Author has made a gripping narration by giving bits and pieces of suspense whenever necessary. Twists and turns were surprising and kept the story interesting. i didn't find any other intriguing secondary characters. Plot has its own Up’s and down.Overall, it’s a wonderful roller-coaster of emotions. From fighting to bickering between each other in the beginning, to resisting the temptation, to finally yielding to the inevitable attraction and forming a unique and special bond, it was rocking. Thoroughly enjoyed this Rockstar RH Romance. I would suggest this for RH and Rockstar romance fans.

A cracking read
Braxton (FMC) gets the opportunity of a lifetime when shes given the chance to join the band - Bound after the death of one of their members. Only shes not welcomed or wanted by the existing members - Houston, Rich (Jericho) and Loren. They make sure she knows it too! It made for an interesting dynamic with all of them especially as you find out more about each character as the book progresses and all the anxieties and problems are brought up from their pasts. After reading some of the reviews for this book i wasnt sure what to expect from it but what it was to me was a book about people struggling within themselves that find love and family together. Yes it wasnt and easy ride for them to get there and there was plenty of steam as well but it was an ending that id hoped they'd get. I can honestly say i liked reading it and i loved Braxton's sassy no non-sense attitude so much. A cracking read

Oh…
I really wanted to love this book. I’m a huge fan of B.B, have read all her books and loved every character that she has created but I just didn’t latch onto this one. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not into reverse harem books, (I’m purely monogamous and can only deal with the angst of one man at a time!!) But also found that it was difficult to connect with the characters. Throughout most of the book, I felt in the dark which is fine…It certainly kept me reading and then everything was thrown in at once with no connection to each other. I found that I was speed, skip reading just to finish. I didn’t like Braxton at all. Felt she was a bit bratty and overreacted and didn’t feel drawn to either Houston, Loren or Jericho, and maybe that’s the point. That the reader, like Braxton, don’t have favourites but I didn’t wish to be in her position. It just not my fantasy, no matter how hot the guys are. I’m just not that greedy, I guess. The sex scenes were a-ma-zing. Hot and plentiful and worth the read even if just for those. As much as I appreciate B.B writing a full novel with over 500 pages (love a long meaty book) and if I’m honest, I only read it because like I said, the author is one of my faves but it’s just not for me. The extra star I gave was for the author coming back rather than the story.

Why did I wait so long?
Why did I wait so long to read this?I love RH books, especially when there’s a bit of crossing swords, and I love rockstar romance - so both of these together was everything I hoped for.😏🤤 Houston, Loren and Jericho are absolutely delicious and I really want to be Braxton right now.If I had to have one slight niggle about the book, it would be that it’s slightly too long. At over 500 pages, I feel like some of it could’ve quite easily been cut and it wouldn’t have affected the story.Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed this one and would definitely read it again.

Everything you could want in a RH
When I when the blurb, I wasn’t sure entirely if this was going to be a book I was going to enjoy. I do enjoy Reverse harem books but I wasn’t sure about the whole musical on tour aspect as that didn’t appeal to me. However tiktok won me over yet again. And thank god they did!!! Because I was addicted to the characters, the plot, the story. Everything about this book had my heart gripped. I couldn’t wait to recommend it to my two reader friends. (who still haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet and read it but their loss). One of those books that kind of resides at the back of your mind and you remember certain scenes in the middle of inappropriate conversations and you just blush all over!

AMAZING!
Lilac was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad that she told me to read it.I loved the characters, the storyline and of course the spice!!I connected with all four main characters for different reasons and I enjoyed watching them all realise how much they need one another.Dual POVs are always a win in my opinion. I love knowing how all characters are feeling and what they are thinking.Definitely need this book for my physical collection. I am happy with how the book ended even though I would love to read more about them.Recommend to anyone who loves enemies to lovers, reverse harems and music romance books.
