This Wise Old Bird surprised me! An It was all due to a simple piece of plastic that the designer's thought to use to get his head to move each an every time the wind blow that was enough to spook the animals on the ground around him.

The owl really works! The birds are not longer building nests on my front porch!

I've purchased 3 of these and had to return/replace 1 due to the head not rotating freely. It appears as they have help with our issue of keeping birds away from sitting on our deck furniture and making a mess. I would buy again.

We have doves and other small birds that like to make nests on our roller awnings and ducks that occasionally dip in our pool. The doves and other birds ignore the owl. It may have worked to keep the ducks out of our pool, but it is unclear if they just returned to the golf course or if my banging on the windows finally scared them away.It is about forty feet from our back sliding door, and our cat will stare at it for quite some time.The plastic fin fell out constantly. The sun made it more brittle, and it finally cracked in two. When I get around to it, I will glue it together and then glue it to the owl.If nothing else, it is a conversation piece and adds to my cat's TV.

I was having a problem with ducks swimming ( and more) in my pool. I read that this plastic owl will scare them away, and I bought one. The plastic "wing" on the neck already blew away, but it solved my duck problem in a humane way.

I bought this to get the squirrels outta my yard because they raped my plum tree the past 2yrs. I placed this owl in a tree about 2ft of the ground so it would be close to their level. Pulled up from work to see the squirrels on the ground about 4ft from the owl, unphased that it was there.Return reason was "DEFECTIVE DOES NOT WORK". So seller sent out another one. I sent both back in one box in Aug. Still have not gotten my refund. NEVER AGAIN!!

I purchased the owl and an ultrasonic device at the same time but I had the ultrasonic device covered due to cold weather protection of plants. The owl seems to work well by itself as I place it on my fire pit and move it occasionally. Since purchase, I have not seen any squirrels within 35 yards of my patio. The squirrels like to chew my awning to wear down their teeth. I so use a spray repellant but they don't seem to get close enough to smell it. Therefore, the owl was an inexpensive and no maintenance answer to my squirrel problem which has cost me over $800.

I was out one day mowing my lawn when all at once my peripheral vision kicked causing me to run in the opposite direction because of it's life like appearance. Needless to say i had forgotten it was place in my crepe myrtle tree! OMG! WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT! great product thanks it works on humans as well.
