The glow ring is quite bright, and the brake light is bright enough to clearly see the difference from the running LED. Externally mounted is very helpful.

Set of tail lights ?
Be carful when your order this one would assume they come in pairs they don't.. you need to choose 2 if you want a set of tail lights. i did not see that option when ordering
