Been searching for this to irradicate an ingrown toenails and help keep it from happening again. I have a terrible reoccurring problem with ingrown toenails. Usually a painful bloody operation, but these implements not only help with treating existing in grown toenails, but help keep them from returning. They serve as mini rasps with a separate one that gently lifts the nail from the side of the nail bed.

The tool is sturdy as anything and fits nicely in the hand, and is great for helping to un-curve ingrown nails. The file also works very well, but shouldn't be used unless you're in a lot of pain; the best way to correct an ingrown nail is to move it over the surrounding skin so if you file it down instead of training it to grow straight, you actually increase the risk of it ingrowing again.

After binge watching pedicure videos on youtube and seeing that there was more to it than just soaking in pretty scented water I brought these tools to assist on the areas that I was clearly missing in my routine. These did a wonderful job at cleaning out all of that and I used them on my husbands feet as well. After some barbacide of course. Cleaned his side walls out and under the nail and he said he feet felt better in his socks and shoes. I'm happy, he's happy. These are strong, sturdy, and get the job done. Don't forget to oil them so they don't rust.

These are easy to use and small enough to fit between the nail and edge of the nail bed! I don’t have a history of ingrown nails but my toes were just starting to hurt and these tools took care of it before any issues started! I’ve already recommended to my family members who suffer from ingrown toenails.

I like that this product has a serrated edge to help clean the sidewalls of the nail - the place most people forget but i can't due to recurring ingrown toenails. The multiple hook types on the two blades results in a really good cleaning.

The file is super short and has super course texture.....I don’t use it. The lift tool I totally think is great! Easy to hold and use. Nice weight, easy to clean and i like the length too!

The ingrown toenail file works extremely well. I patiently filed the toenail into a curve. I got under the ingrown part of the nail after inserting and pulling the file toward front of toe. Then , I began filing a curve toward the center of the toenail. This gave me amazing relief form the pain. Now, the toenail is suppose to grow out correctly. I will see what happens in a few weeks. Totally pleased.

I could only handle doing this a little at a time every couple of days because of how bad my toenails were but I should be able to finish up tonight as it has already reduced the pain tremendously. The only thing that could be better is a little slimmer on one end of the file because I started with no room between the nail and the skin.
