31 Days Before Your Ccna Routing and Switching Exam: A Day-by-Day Review Guide for the ICND2 (200-101) Certification Exam 3rd Edition

The title is misleading. This is not 30 days before your CCNA. It's 30 days before your ICND2. This does not cover the whole CCNA exam. In fact, the quote buried in the introduction of the book says (paraphrasing) "I hope you bought the first book!". Now if you read the whole title of the book (instead of what's in big bold letters on the cover of the actual book) it says ...Review Guide for the ICND2 exam. However if you were just looking for a CCNA book, and don't understand how the exams are broken out, then maybe you'll make the same assumption/mistake I did?Secondly, the second edition of this book had *all* of the CCNA content. Now u have to pay double since they broke it up into 2 books. I'm really not sure why they did that. From what I can see the scope of the CCNA exam did not double.Sorry, I'm just being honest here. This is not the best bang for the buck, and I'm going to try and get my money back. I put 2 stars because the content that *is* in the book is pretty good. However, it's only half of what you need for the CCNA.

Passed my CCNA exam. I do think much of this is to reiterate concepts that have not much to do with the test but a lot to do with what you should know as a CCNA. I can't fault the book for preparing you for both. Not sure if I would have scored so high if I didn't read this beforehand.

Great book to help remind you of the topics in the ICND2 exam. Like stated in the book itself, it is not meant to be your only study resource. complimented with the official ICND2 cert guide, some youtube videos, a simple (or complicated like mine) home lab, and you'll be prepared for the test after a few months.

I have this book both in print and kindle. The book was very helpful for passing the exam. I am using the kindle version on my laptop for my recertification. This book will keep you on track. The exam process seems easier if to me if you split the exams rather than taking the composite exam.

Stick with a cram book rather than buy this since its more of a planner for studying and not really a good material supplement. Still a well put together book if you simply must have a hand holding experience with your studies.

This study guide is excellent for REVIEWING the main topics for the CCNA / ICND2 exam, but it is not sufficient for the exam.

Great book. Helped me tremendously to pass the ICND2 with flying colors. Troubleshooting section is the best!!!!!!

I have found this to be an excellent resourceful study guide and it is on point in preparation for the exam. Applying this along with hands on practice with the GNS3 tool has prepared me to Excel on the CCNA Exam.
