Front Bumper Lip Compatible with Tesla Model Y Front Bumper Kit Car Mods Spoilers for Tesla Model Y Accessories 2020 2021 2022 2023 (Glossy Carbon Fiber Pattern)

This bumper lip was installed on a 2023 Model Y Performance. I was hesitant on buying this product after reading a lot of reviews where the lip falls off the car on the freeway and possibly causing damage to the car. Fortunately, I'm a structural engineer by profession and understand why these things keep falling off at freeway speed. The short answer is that the joint is insufficient to keep the lip on the car at high speed. The ABS plastic is not strong enough to support downward force acting on the lip.DO NOT follow the provided instructions if you don't want your lip to fall off. For my installation, I used #10-24 stainless steel fasteners with stainless steel lock nuts. I used the provided washers because they seemed to be good quality and are big enough to prevent pull-through. instead of the provided tape, I purchased some wider 3M tape to provide more adhesion area and I temporarily install the lip per the provided instructions using only a few of the provided screws to hold the lip in place.Next, I matched drill the remaining holes and added to additional holes at the radius of the 2 ends giving it 6 staggered fasteners instead 4 in-line (bad) fasteners. Then i removed the front skid plate to gain access of the other side of the liner behind the bumper. On the other end of the bolt (inside the bumper cavity, I installed a washer and the lock nut and tighten it down. This basically clamped the lip to the bumper liner and prevent the screw to pull through the ABS material. This is a little bit more work then the provided instructions, but the lip is now more secured to the car.Overall, this product looks great on my car and I got it for a little over $100.

Great kit, but would benefit from adding directions etc. The kit came with adhesion promoter, but no double sided tape. It had plenty of hardware and fits like a glove!

I installed the lip using the supplied tape and screws. It looked really nice on the car but that only lasted a few weeks. I took a road trip this last weekend to Miami. As I was driving on the highway during a rainstorm, I heard a weird sound for almost a minute then I realised that my lip completely came off and ended up being ran over by a vehicle behind me. It seems like the supplied fasteners were not strong enough to keep the lip on at the higher speeds/rain. I reached out to their support but have not heard back from them. I would NOT RECOMMEND this lip to anyone that intends to drive on the highway.

Good from far, but far from good. Poor quality, but it looks pretty descent.

At first, I was a bit sketchy, given some of the bad reviews, but I just installed it on my Model Y.The lip fits perfectly, and I had no issues installing the item. I did the adhesive Tape and screwed it to the bottom of my bumper. I'm looking forward on going with the same company with decals on my fog lights.

Thin material but works for looks.

Side skirts and from lip spoiler are good. I like it very much and makes MY look good. I wish they made a matching rear diffuser.

Great quality and perfect fitment. Did the install by myself with masking tape to align the spoiler, took 5 to 10 minutes total.This is the spoiler that other Tesla retailers are selling for $249 and up.
