Bought these for my grandbabies to collect a penny for each year of their life - I have been doing to my life for 70 years. Its a fun, inexpensive lifelong project.

I needed a simple box for an organized way to store some coins in my safe. This box is lightweight and would probably not be the best option for carrying a coin collection around. However, that's not my application and it works well. Though the form inserts are cut to accommodate 31mm capsules, they stretch for larger diameter capsules. The capsules that come with the box are so-so, but they can get the job done. This was not a concern for me as I wanted the box more than the capsules. I use capsules that are fitted specifically for my coins. Again, this item fits my needs but I wasn't looking for something that is rugged and fancy. It's priced accordingly. Don't try to make it something it is not.

Also makes a nice Presentation case. Holds 100 coins in a nice wooden box. Wood appears to be a soft wood such as balsa wood.

It is very disappointing! It doesn't fit 1 oz sized gold or silver coins... The plastic containers are too small.

Well made box. Insert capsules not the best. Made for quarter sized coins, halves will fit but nothing bigger.
