The two sister plays that I got previous to this we're all thin metal seems to be no carbon content. These are made in America and they are thick strong steel you can feel the weight over any other cheap one out there it was easy to install on my mower and it's functional for what I needed for

Fits great just wish they were a little bit less expensive but it's not bad compared to some other blades.
