Ahhhhmazing!
I purchased this keyboard for my teenage son who is glued to his computer for games and YouTube videos. He currently has a Razor Black Widow mechanical keyboard for reference. You get a lot of keyboard in this thing - especially for the price point. It came in a really nice box. Instructions were not in English but my son is pretty swift on his toes so that wasn't an issue. He really loved the colors on this thing. He was mesmerized by how it lit up when he plugged it in. Each row is a different color! It lights up one row at a time. It's like a rainbow of electronic awesomeness. This is a nice, compact keyboard. If you need a keyboard that is smaller than most - this one is IT! It doesn't have the number pad so that decreases the overall length of it. He's really enjoying the length and size of this. It sits low and it's pretty thin. Looks sleek. Stays lit up when using it. Impressed with how bright the lights are, even during the day in a fully lit room. The keys on this keyboard are actually pretty tall but it types smoothly and fast. Flawless. Very click-y sound and you know this keyboard is built to last. Keys are fine to the touch and nonslip feel while typing. On the under side of this keyboard is two little feet so you an stand this keyboard up at an angle. He can type pretty fast on this keyboard and overall, my son is in love with this keyboard. He hasn't used his Razor one since receiving this one - and that's pretty impressive in itself!DISCLAIMER: I received this keyboard for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

great keyboard
Dope. I bought this because it was highly rated for typing and it looked cool. After a small adjustment period (my laptop has a slightly different key configuration and very different striking characteristics) I am flying along on this thing. It does look awesome. It has a machined aluminum top painted matte black with sturdy allen bolts that are easily removed so you can access and replace things as needed. I haven't had to, and don't anticipate needing to replace anything on it for quite a while, but its nice to know I can. I like its simple, compact design. It doesn't take up much space on my desktop. FYI: I am not a gamer so I don't know if it works well for that. I use it for Photoshop and typing.

Very solid performance at a great price
I've got to admit, now that the learning curve is past, I really enjoy this new keyboard. The solid feel and excellent mechanical response allow me to type far faster and more accurately than with other keyboards. The fact that it is waterproof is another excellent feature - for no particular reason :) I don't really miss the additional keys associated with the number pad and the smaller form footprint has it's advantages in a sometimes cluttered environment.I spend hours on this keyboard every evening and am very pleased with it's performance. It delivers solid performance and a reasonable price. I'm considering getting one for work.

Other than that it is really awesome for a budget gaming keyboard
I really dig this keyboard and it has met my expectations. The only thing I may have to get used to would be there are no extended numeric keypad. Other than that it is really awesome for a budget gaming keyboard. I must add to the shipper. Thank you for the quick shipment. Ordered it on Wednesday and got it on Saturday. That's 3 day shipping. For those who are checking the reviews... BUY IT! I recommend this to anyone nuf said.

sent it back....it was too small....set up higher than most keyboards i've owned so i felt wrist strain. And no number key pad.

The keys are extremely high - for some who has used a Mac keyboard for years, this was impossible to master.

Good, for the price
For the cost, this keyboard is definitely a good deal. It has plenty of cool lighting effects, and is certainly an eye-catcher. The keycaps used are fairly comfortable. It uses plate-mounted Outemu switches (manufactured by Gaote). It feels sturdy to type on, and the sliders feel smooth enough. I don't personally prefer the Outemu switches, as their activation point is actually slightly below the tactile bump, rather than exactly on the bump as with most other Cherry clones. This might not matter to some. If you usually bottom out your keypresses, it won't cause problems. As would be expected with any keyboard using blue switches, it is fairly loud. You can effectively quiet it using a set of O-ring switch dampeners, which are fairly cheap to come by. It will still be very clicky, but you'll reduce the total noise level by a lot.Overall, I do like the keyboard, but personally, I'll probably be replacing the switches down the road.
