Sturdy again
These did the trick! The doggie door had damaged the walls to the point there were holes where the gate snugged up to the walls. These completely corrected the problem and the gate is once again sturdy.

Protect your walls!
Nonslip and they spread out the pressure over a greater area. Very secure when proper tension is applied to the screws holding the gate in place. I have moved/repositioned the gate twice now and there is no apparent damage to the sheetrock.

Work great and won't damage wall
These wall protectors were used with a baby gate we put up at the bottom of our stairs to prevent our dog from going upstairs. I've had the gate with these wall protectors up for 3 years and recently had to take the gate down due to repainting our walls. The protectors were used on the bare wall and when taken off they were stuck to the wall pretty good due to the tension of the gate. I was worried that due to this the wall protectors fused to the wall paint which was semi-glossy. It took awhile to loosen with just my hand and tugging at the thing but eventually I got them off and I was shocked that they didn't leave a mark on the wall at all after 3 years of being on there under so much pressure. We live in Texas and the summers get extremely hot here so I was also equally surprised that these didn't leave a mark on the wall. I will definitely recommend these to anyone who is utilizing a tension baby gate and don't want to drill.

Using with a pet gate
These are okay. They fell apart after 1st use but remain functional. I’m using these with the Midwest pet gate.

Nine Banana baby gates wall protectors
Fabulous! Flush against wall , stylish , blend right in . Very sturdy hold with 2 Irish Wolfhounds and a Belgian Malinois. Never worried about the wall or them pushing the gate . Very nice .
