The tool is made of good quality aluminum and precisely machined. Mine came well packaged, perfectly clean and ready to use. The cap screws in smoothly and you can fill the tank with oil up to where the thread start, so when you will close it, there will be little or no air at all inside. It is almost impossible to purge air out using refrigerant pressure, once the oil is loaded, because of the high pressure you will not be able to purge just a few drops of oil, it will spray out all the content of the tank within a fraction of second. Therefore you must fill the tank all the way to the thread and having some oil purging out while you screw the lid in, is essential. I needed to add 6 oz of POE 32 oil, in to a HVAC residential unit which uses R410A refrigerant. But I did not want to pull a vacuum and I did with the system running and under pressure. The system works with about 130psi on the lower pressure side and 360psi on the high side. The tool was able to handle this kind of pressure and I was able to screw it directly to the systems ports and manifold hose without any adapter. I connected the blue tube of this tool directly to the low pressure port and the other side, using a blu hose to the charge port of a manifold. I had refrigerant pushing the oil through, coming from the High Pressure line and going through the manifold high pressure port. The tool worked flawlessly, I was able to reload the oil 3 times, without disconnecting any hose. All I had to do was to close the blue knob tight to block the high pressure from entering the tank, which allowed me to open the tank and fill the oil.

Prior to getting this, I had tried refrigerant that had dye in it and no matter what I still could not find the leak. I put a vacuum on the system probably half a dozen times and over the course of days it would lose its vacuum, so I finally went to pressure and settle the same thing. Changed out random O-rings, and still nothing purchased us filled it with a few ounces of dye, then added pressure to the system and use the flashlight within 30 seconds I found the leak. It was one O-ring that I did not change out. I had change the inner O-ring, but not the outer that seals the two main pipes together. Swap that out put it back to him on the system for about 2 1/2 hours and truck has been running ice cold sense and that was over two weeks ago! Great quality, fast shipping
