As a dancer, I'm constantly fighting the edges of my big toenail and soreness. I wasn't sure if these would be better than normal cuticle clippers, since they're essentially the same, but shaped slightly differently. I tested them out immediately, and whoa! They're sharper than I thought AND they reach easily to clip off small sections of toenail. I'm very happy with these! No more digging with my cuticle clippers and causing myself more pain! I tried it with both hands on both feet and they worked very well each time.

As we age, our toenails get thicker and reaching them to trim them becomes difficult. I kept putting off trimming my toenails until they became painful just because I couldn't do the job properly. Saw these on sale and gave them a try - a life changer. Easy to handle, precision cutting, and because of how they are used compared to the "tweezer" type nail clippers, I can actually do a great job cutting my nails, no matter how thick they are. Loved them so much that I bought a pair for the husband to use and he loves them too. Would definitely recommend!

Most pain-free design i have used.

I get ingrown toenails ALL THE TIME. Not sure why; probably because I never learned to clip my nails correctly. After dealing with ingrown toenails and infections for decades I bought these. I pull them out as soon as I feel the slightest pressure on the sides of my toes and the shape of the cutters allows me to clip everything out before it gets ingrown causing an infection! I didn't give 5 stars because I dropped the cutters once and it dented the sharp edge making them impossible to use to cut the left side of my toes. Its ok, probably just cheap steal (I'm not a steel expert?). The product functionality is good enough I'm buying the 4th gen (red handles) to give them a shot.

Bought these on a whim looking for something better than the current toenail nippers I own… These are more awesome than I expected! Price was good, and the Long tip gets down into the ingrown toenail and also is very sharp! Great tool if you have to manage your own ingrown toenails

I can still vaguely remember when I was young, clipping my toenails in a perfect circular fashion around the toes. I didn't know you were supposed to clip your big toenails more along the lines of straight across. So, for quite a few years now, I have suffered with ingrown toenails on both of my big toes. Unless you can get those nails completely trimmed, it can be unbearably painful 24/7, and especially with every step you take. It's like having a small nail sticking in the side of your toe under the skin. I have fought with these for years, and these clippers make it a breeze to get them trimmed properly. These clippers are no joke. They are a serious piece of equipment that are very sharp, so it's important to be careful as you are attempting this. I have found that if I take a piece of gorilla tape (the black tape - very strong), and tear off a piece of it several inches long, I can put the edge of the tape on the skin along the side of the toenail, and then pull down on the tape and wrap it around my toe and back onto the toe. This will pull and hold the skin down and away from the nail before I trim on it, and this little trick has made it much easier for me to deal with clipping these ingrown nails. I would recommend using these clippers to trim parts of the nail that are not in a sensitive area to begin with, so that you get a feel for them before you attempt to cut an ingrown nail. When I do trim the ingrown part of the nail, I usually start on the opposite end of the toe, and trim off completely about 80% of the nail, until it's it's a little above the part of the nail that is ingrown. Then I just open the clippers, and slide the bottom side of them real easy under and along the remaining nail into the corner, and carefully clip. There's somewhat of a learning curve to using these, but once you figure it out, this problem will not be something that torments you any longer. I will never be without these clippers.

I love that this is really sharp and cuts with little hand pressure. I often find products to cut toenails just do not cut well and require massive hand strength which I do not have. The shape makes it really easy to get in place. Love it.

Easy to use!. Be careful because they are SHARP! Not a bad thing for sure. Love this product!
