Gotta get the right sound
I recently purchased the Rubber Ball Striker Mallet, and while it didn't quite meet my expectations for use with Tibetan sound bowls, it still stands out as a high-quality mallet with its own unique strengths. The construction and craftsmanship of the Rubber Ball Striker Mallet are impressive. The materials used and the attention to detail in its design reflect a commitment to quality. The rubber ball at the end of the mallet is sturdy and well-made, ensuring durability over time. While it may not be the ideal choice for Tibetan sound bowls, the mallet excels in other areas. Its design and weight make it well-suited for a variety of percussion instruments, providing a clear and resonant sound. The versatility of this mallet makes it a valuable addition to any percussionist's toolkit. The handle is comfortable to grip, allowing for ease of use and control during playing. Whether you're exploring different sound textures or engaging in rhythmic patterns, the Rubber Ball Striker Mallet offers a reliable and consistent performance. In conclusion, while this mallet may not be the perfect fit for Tibetan sound bowls, it shines in other percussion applications. Its high-quality construction, versatility, and comfortable design make it a noteworthy choice for musicians looking to enhance their sound palette. If you're in search of a reliable rubber ball striker mallet for various percussion instruments, this is a solid option.

Excellent mallet! Produces great sound.
At first I was upset because I didn’t realize it was slimmer than some of the other silicone mallets I’m used to, BUT then I discovered this is an advantage! It’s much easier for me to use and the sound is better. I was so impressed I bought another and the two together produce a flow that is indescribable. I’ve been soundhealing for 8 yrs. My name is Jenny Hong in FL if you need proof (using my family account) and I must say these are the best mallets I’ve used so far. For bowls OVER 14 inches, maybe get a thicker mallet, but these will def still work.

The bowls are good quality and tuned well
The bowls are good quality and tuned well. I sent the 3 piece set to NYC for a show and just brought a couple of my own carry on. They are nice and thick and packed tightly in their stacking carry bag. All arrived perfectly in shipping. I wish I’d ordered the full set

This is the striker for a singing bowl. It works very well with a larger bowl
Makes a nice tone to a Centering Prayer Bowl but each striker I have are all off center as the screw in the wooded stick is off center. For $10 they should have been more careful as this is not a high tech product. Obviously they did not set each stick in a "Jig" or "fixture" so they put the screw in crooked. No way to repair it. Had a metal handle been used this might have solved this problem. It would have kept the screw going into the rubber ball straight on. I may buy a soft face hammer with rubber on one side and hard plastic on the other. (REVISED REVIEW)- The seller was kind enough to contact me so I choose to revise my review. While there is nothing I can do about the screw in the wooden handle, I will keep the remaining two strikers I have purchased. This striker is far superior to using a wooden striker alone. It gives a resounding sound for beginning the practice of "Centering Prayer". Or the beginning of any time of Meditation or Mindfulness. While the Rubber striker will not make the Bowl "Sing" it is perfect for the beginning and ending of a period of centering prayer. A wooden striker with a "leather" strip glued to is still needed to make the singing bowl continue to make the sound unique to the bowl. I use this Rubber ball striker to make the initial sound for centering prayer. If I want to make the bowl "sing" I use a wooden dowel with a strip of suede leather glued to it. This is the perfect striker for beginning Centering prayer.

Ask Not for Whom the Bass Bar Intones….
This item is the perfect mallet for playing bass bars. They are perfectly balanced. They have high-quality engineered heads. The wooden handles are highly polished and provide a secure grip. Their length is just right for my hand and arm length. This single mallet can be used on multiple instruments, but I would not recommend that it be used with any “force” on any natural skin heads on hand drums, “gathering” drums, bongos, congas, etc. Its use on synthetically manufactured drumheads could be possible, but I recommend “treading lightly”. This mallet has “heft” and is rather formidable. Xylophones, vibraphones, metalophones, etc. should be able to withstand being struck by this mallet, as long as the intent is to produce music, rather than destruction.

Awesome set, but C isn’t tuned right
The media could not be loaded. I will first note that it seems that the C bowl (root chakra) is out of tune (see video) when played along with the other bowls which is very disappointing. However, I find this acceptable when considering the price and the fact that the rest of the bowls are perfect. Now, onto the actual review. I LOVE THEM. The quality of sound is fantastic, and they still sing for a while after you stop actively playing them. These bowls come packed in their carrying cases with 2 strikers and 7 rubber rings to place them on while playing.I adore the silicone strikers, they’re much quieter while playing compared to rubber or suede mallets which often produce a scratching or scraping sound as you move them around the bowls. The carrying cases are well made and feel very protective. The bowl sleeves can be a little tricky to get on and off due to the rougher surface of the outside of the bowls, but it’s not much of an issue, so long as you’re careful (I almost dropped one!)Overall I would recommend, and would’ve given 5 stars had the low C bowl been tuned correctly. I may inquire about a replacement and if I end up receiving one, I will update this comment.
