Box was leaking but that is common for salt and pickling salt is even more fine akin to popcorn salt. It tastes salty and when I open my pickled carrots next year I am confident that the salt will have done it's job.

Will last a LONG time. Best value. Wish it had a better pouring spout, but good enough. Came packed in a sealed bag to prevent spillage, though arrived intact.

Great Stuff but carton leaks
I used it right away to make some pickles. Then I had to put the carton into a zip lock bag because the caton wasn't keeping the salt inside.
