Get organized and have fun
I love getting more organized. I think it’s a pretty dork thing, but I like the container store and putting things in shoeboxes and jars with colorful labels and stacking them all neatly together or whatever. I really needed these, and I didn’t even know it. I have made just my kitchen so much more efficient and attractive. I have friends who use these in their homes in really creative ways, and I, of course, looked online especially on Pinterest to get some more ideas. They work in your pantry, your spice cabinet, your closets, your junk room, even your bedroom, labeling your drawers or boxes stuffed in the back. I made sorts of homemade gifts sometimes, like candles and body products, and I use these labels on the pretty mason jars or whatever I put them in to spice the gift up.I love this set of chalk labels in particular. You get 80 different labels, which is a ton. I couldn’t even think of twenty things to label, so I have plenty to spare. They come in eight different shapes, so you can choose your preference. I shared some with my mother, and she had a blast labeling her kitchen to death too. I wish I had gotten more than one marker, and I intend to go buy more somewhere. Still, the marker you get works very well, writes clean and easy, and I don’t have fears of it drying up fast or anything. I am really pleased to have these around and enjoying getting more organized in a fun way.I received these chalk labels for a discount in exchange for my honest feedback, but my thoughts are my own. I shop on Amazon all the time and rely on honest, thorough reviews just like everyone. Thanks!

It serves its purpose, but be aware of finger touching
The media could not be loaded. I bought this 173 Pack Premium Chalkboard Label Stickers Bulk with 2 Chalk Markers out of desire to add a fun appeal to my pantry. I could have gone with the simple restaurant labels and penned it in, but that wouldn't be fun. After going through multiple products, it's clear many brands buy from the same manufacturer and simply choose variations before selling their version of the product. Based on my research, this seller's package appeared to have good value and supported with plenty of reviews.-Initial Reaction & Packaging-The packaging was very clean and not flimsy. Everything was layed out fine and even the cover board inside of the package was stiff instead of a flimsy paper. The chalk markers have a very sturdy plastic case and even the cap was initially difficult to take off due to its tightness. This is not a complaint, but rather a sign of security in its ability to stay fresh. There is a swift but effective instruction sheet inside of the case as well so you do not have to refer back to the Amazon listing.I will note that a few of the stickers have very minor dents in them to begin with. I'm assuming it's from being pressed on by another product, maybe something with staples in the packaging. Not a big deal as there are many stickers in the package (I did not verify if it's 173) but something to note for the sellers. The labels them selves are actually black. It's not a dark charcoal, it's definitely black. And the black is kind of wet/shiny looking instead of matte/dull. So there is no worry about getting some weird off-color that wasn't clear in the listing.-Experience Using-I followed the instructions as expected, however, it took a lot more effort to get the ink to come out. Step 6 says to press the tip on a surface 9-10 times until the ink comes out. It took me maybe 30 pushes to get the ink to flow. My method was quick short pushes on the surface. Perhaps you need to push and hold for a second to make 9-10 pushes accurate, but this isn't a big deal. Once the ink came flowing, it was very flowy. No leaking or struggle to draw. The labels are easy to peel off the white sheet. I wrote on the sticker before removing from the white sheet so it was easiest to write what I wanted. Putting the label on the container for me was a bit tricky. Although it stuck very easily, I did have to replace it a couple times due to my error of placement. The adhesive was good, but I was still able to peel it off without damaging the sticker. When I replaced the sticker, there was no sign of failure from the adhesive. This was perfect! If you're confident, I would recommend placing the label on the container first, then writing on it. I say this because as you put the sticker on, you will want to avoid touching the ink to avoid damaging the clarity of your drawing. The adhesive is good enough that I am not concerned about it falling off despite me not pressing in every spot of the sticker once on the container. However, if you plan on washing the container with the sticker on it, I'd imagine ensuring a good seal by pressing the whole label down would be ideal during installation.-Concern-Maybe it's just the nature of a 'chalk' pen, but the ink was easy to wipe off with my finger. I tested this by drawing an X and a weird kind of B on a label, and then I let it sit for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, I lightly rubbed my finger on it and quite a lot of Ink came off. Now I'm fine with the aftermath since the label is clearly still there and I can make out the writing. But, depending on the purpose of these labels, such as being in a store and possibly getting touched by customers, this may cause irritation.I posted a video to show me wiping off the 30min sitting ink. Again, not the biggest deal to me, but I can see how it can be an issue for some people.-Verdict-Although I have not tested the reusability/washing-off feature yet, I am very happy with the product. It fulfilled my simple purpose so far. I would recommend this product for a few reasons:-It's not expensive at all-Two markers while being two colors, versus other product that only has 1 marker-There's plenty of shapes and sizes and decent quantities of each, so there's plenty of room for error before you'd have to purchase another set.I am only giving a 4-star due to some of the labels have dents in them upon arrival, and that the chalk wipes off a bit too easily, even after sitting for 30 minutes. I'd like to see a stronger chalk, even if it means it'll take more scrubbing effort when washing the ink off to rewrite the label.

Durable and easy to use
I really like these labels for many reasons. You get so many for the price! It's a great deal. They are a strong durable vinyl. I use them on many kitchen and bathroom containers. Since I wanted labels that are going to be used for a long time, I chose not to use the wipable chalk markers that came with, instead a bought a fine point permanent paint marker in white. It looks just like chalk, but I didn't want it to smear when touched or water got on it. But guess what? The permanent markers smeared too when I went to press the label on the bottle because I didn't wait long enough to dry. So I decided to press the labels on the jar or bottle first and then write on it, and let it dry from there. The labels will need lots of smoothing and pressing to get it on there nice with no creases or bubbles, but once they're on, they're not going to peel back at all. They are nice and sticky. In fact, try not to mess up in placement because peeling it back off isn't super easy, but you can still do it carefully.. I have no complaints about these stickers. I'd just recommend a permanent white paint marker if you want to use the label for a while. I'll use the chalk markers that came with it for some other project. Also, wait for your writing to dry if you must write first and then press on container.
