Great Side.
I had this produce from another store at some point, and when I saw these, I bought them. They look like mashed potatoes, but the taste is not the same, but in my opinion, pretty good as a substitute especially with gravy. I love this product!

So very gross
If I could give this product 0 stars I would, got it today and was hungry when it arrived and since it's fast to make I did...I didn't do anything fancy because I wanted to keep it at the amount of carbs it advertises on the package, I put one bite in my mouth and spit it back into the bowl. Sounds gross but I refuse to waste carbs, I shouldn't have to do anything extra to these than what it says on the package. A complete waste of money, I will never buy these again.

Finally a Tasty Potato Replacement
I tried this as a replacement for mashed potatoes. I made a diced beef recipe with a cream sauce kind of like a chipped beef. The mash was very good with this poured over the top, just like mashed potatoes.😋After trying so many different potato replacements - radishes, jicama, rutabaga - I'm so happy to find something that tastes good but also doesn't raise my blood sugar.A word of warning: don't smell these mashed palmini in their packaging and expect them to smell like potatoes because you will be greatly disappointed. While they taste amazing and have the same mouth feel, the smell is awful!YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED🤷♀️

Texture Good.
I heated the product by microwave. That worked fine. Texture is just like mashed potatoes. But it has a distinctly bitter taste. No amount of salt, pepper, and butter masked the bitterness. I’ll try again by microwaving and stirring it longer, and then covering it with white gravy.

I am impressed with the look, texture and mouth feel of the Mashed Palmini but...
I was impressed by the look and mouth feel of the Mashed Palmini. It's just like mashed potatoes, however...I enjoy the Palmini angel hair noodles but with the noodles I'm able to rinse away most of the citric acid used in the package to keep the item fresh. I found that without being able to rinse the mashed Palmini the citric acid taste remained, even after pan frying and adding butter, cream, salt, pepper and chives. It's not a bad taste, just not a flavor usually found in mashed potatoes.I'm not willing to give up on these yet. I read a review by someone who used a fine strainer to rinse the mashed. I think cheesecloth might work but I don't see how a strainer would work. It would be like trying to strain mashed potatoes through a strainer. There would be nothing left to cook. I will attempt to update my review after I've tried rinsing the mashed.I still recommend trying the Mashed Palmini just be aware of the mild citric acid taste. It's so close to real mashed potatoes and much easier to prepare than mashed cauliflower. It's still a nice addition to my eating plan.Oh, and I have only tried the Palmini products that come in the bag, not the can. I don't know if that makes a difference in the flavor but I thought I should mention it.

No prep!
Just open the package and eat it hot or cold. Taste great with a little butter or mixed into a meal. I use it as a sub for mashed potatoes sometimes!

Do not recommend
Taste was horrid. Had to drown in butter and sour cream or garlic to eat. Rice was the same.

Smell alone killed me
I didn't like the smell at all. As I was heating it up it smelled funky so that alone should've told me to leave it alone but nope I said I paid for it I will at least try it. I tried to put cheese in it and still awful. The noodles with this brand is okay but the mash potatoes nope
