I chose this item because of the reviews especially regarding the one about having a pixie cut. I have straight, thick hair and love the spiky look. This product is a gel consistenancy which I usually don't like. You use a small swipe and rub between your hands and then into your hair. Small amt and you don't get any greasy feel and the hold is all day.Gives a nice healthy shine too. faint scent but is a good smell. My new fav product. A few commented on the size but honestly this will take me months to get through.

My hairstyles have improved. It keeps my hair up all day. I just think it dried out my hair. Maybe because of daily use.

The product helps me create the perfect look for my pixie cut. A lot of hair products bother me and make my scalp itch. This does not which is a huge sell for me. Highly recommend.

The product holds really well, but it is very thick and sticky. I use a pea size amount and wet my hands to dilute it. My hair holds a wave and shape for over 24 hours! I have very fine, straight hair and I can make the layers wave with this product and a bit of blow drying!

I received this order before leaving town and ask for return label. I didn't have time to get it returned before leaving and now I just found out the deadline was March 21st. My fault for waiting too long. I have used this produce for 15 years usually buying from Ulta. This is the first time I have ordered this product from Amazon. This product is bad and way too sticky. When put on hair, it makes the hair heavy. The good product of this paste will be smooth and thicker and works great on your hair. The bad one pulls up the paste right on the lid. I buy this product over and over. When I see a bad one, I do not buy it. They are bad as an easy 3 out of 5 times. Ulta had a bad one. Didn't buy. I ordered on line from them and it was received with bad texture. So, I thought giving the Amazon option a try. Please open the lid and check before you mail to customers. Sticky to the touch and lid and bubbly in texture is the bad one. Clear paste, no bubbles, non sticky is the good one. Please don't mail bad ones to customers. Because I'm too late to return, I will be throwing the 2 paste jars away!

Too sticky, not enough shine

This makes my hair oily and gives my hair an unwashed look, even using the smallest amount. This company has great products, so this might be an issue only with my hair. No odor, which is a plus.
