MUST FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO VISIT FINLAND

Useful book. We visited Helsinki and Lakeland part of Finland - good tips for both.

This book was a present for a honeymoon trip. The couple were extremely happy with the book!

I traveled to Helsinki, Tampere, and Turku this summer and kept this book with me along the way. It's got decent maps and highlights for major cities. I wish the index was slightly more thorough to make finding specific places on the fly a bit easier. The book is probably best read for planning a trip while at a desk, not always so on the go. There were a few keys details that would have been helpful to know, like a map of the airport (to get to the buses), and a few tips about the long distance buses. For example, it took me awhile to figure out that the long distance bus stalls were underground.It's not a bad book to have on hand if you are in a major city with no particular plans for the day. Browse, pick something, and go for it.
