Great for sewing / quilting templates
These are great for quilting/ embroidery templates. they cut easy with scissors & are comparable in thickness to some disposable cutting mats I have used for the same purpose. I think it's a great deal . They are clear so I can easily trace a coloring page or a paper pattern . I haven't cut through them by accident yet , they are a bit thicker than what I usually use which is GREAT . Holding up well so far . They were just as described. I would buy them again

Cut easily and cleanly on Cricut Explore Air 2 with the right settings
I purchased the 7 mil after struggling (and ultimately failing) to cut the 10 mil size with my Cricut Explore Air 2. This thickness is slightly floppier than the 10 mil, but it's certainly still adequate for a stencil. I used the exact settings that the seller has listed in the photos: Stencil Film - 0.4 mm, 2x, deep cut blade, and it worked perfectly - no weeding required! Because there's no way I will remember those settings for next time, I just created a custom material called "Stencil 7 mil" with the following settings: Cut Pressure: 341 Multi-cut: 2x Blade Type: Deep-Point Blade Adding a custom material in Cricut Design Space can be confusing, so here are the steps I followed. While in any project, click "Make" and then "Continue." Set the dial on your machine to Custom. In Design Space, click "Browse All Materials," then "Material Settings" in the bottom left of that window. Scroll to the very bottom and click "Add New Material." Add the name of the material, then Save. Then set the parameters and save again. Hope this helps!
