Low Carb Diet Blues solved with this Flavoring!
My family is on Keto diet, so no starches or grains. Well, potato is a starch and is The Forbidden Fruit. So while researching substitute side dishes, I came across Cauliflower "mashed potatoes." It tasted really good, but still like, well, cauliflower that had been riced and buttered and salted. So I reached out to Amazon and found this Mashed Potato Flavor. A few days later I attempted my cauliflower "mashed potatoes" again, but this time adding a whole two full squirts from the eyedropper into the entire mashed head of cauliflower.GAME. CHANGER. You can no longer smell the powerful scent of cauliflower, and the brassica taste is all-but-gone. Everyone loved it.Will be buying this again, as soon as the bottle gets low. Oh, and I tried it with jicama too, being that jicama is a mild root vegetable with low-enough carbs to give it a whirl as masquerade mashed potatoes, but the texture was off and there was still that faint hint of sweetness that jicama proclaims. So, if you're doing low-carb and need some mashed potatoes, try your mashed cauliflower with this flavoring.*I paid for this, no promotion was given to me*

This gives a good potato flavor, but do it fresh.
I used this on mashed cauliflower and was really pleased, but in the future I will add it one serving at a time. I made a 4 serving batch and mixed iti in, but when I reheated it, the potato flavor had gone away. That's ok, I was just surprised it faded.

strong smell
I like this product, but it took me some time to figure out how much to use. When it arrived and I opened the bottle, there was a very strong unpleasant odor. It does not seem to go away, probably because it is a concentrated oil. I keep it in a resealable plastic bag. The smell does dissipates when you add it to you food ( I use it on radishes or cauliflower.) Mixed in with your other mash potato flavoring (bacon, onions, etc) it does give you a genuine mash potato flavor outcome. I do like and will continue using. It is concentrated, so a little goes a long way.

Nope
Bye, bye potato. This is not gonna bring back potatoes if you’re eating low carb. You’ll need to be pretty desperate for this to taste like potatoes. From someone who ate potatoes at almost every meal, this isn’t a solution. It smells a bit like potatoes, but it’s bitter and not very good. It completely ruined a quart of homemade soup. My advice? Take a deep breath, say good bye to potatoes and learns to love cauliflower…

Ok but not worth it
Ehhh so it's *ok* .the smell is awful but when used a little it made the cauliflower taste decent but nothing can save the texture.

Pretty good stuff
Used it in mashed cauliflower to help taste more like potatoes. It really did help. Of course nothing compares to good old mashed potatoes but this stuff enhances the taste of the cauliflower. The only downside is it does take quite a bit to boost the potato flavor. Will buy again.

Not what I expected
This smelled more like bad buttered popcorn, than anything with mashed potato. Really disappointed. Tried to use it twice, actually made what I was eating taste worst.

Makes mashed cauliflower taste like potatoes!
I've been making mashed cauliflower instead of potatoes for years and the were "ok". I saw on Pinterest someone using these drops in the mash and then baking. OMG, amazing! Lasts a long time too since you only need a few drops.
