Not being versed in the art of canvass stretching, I can only tell you that they seemed tight enough, sturdy enough and smooth enough for painting. I used them for Dutch Pour painting. They worked fine.

Works as intended. My 9 yr-old loves to paint and now has lots of different sized options to choose from.

Check over each canvas right away as this one is torn inside the cellophane.
