New version of product
[Updated since original review]I was a huge fan of these goggles and so were my kids. When my son lost his at the pool he cried all the way home. So I ordered a new pair, 'these are not the same' he immediately said. I asked what was different and he said they were thinner. And the print is smaller. And this part (the Velcro) is different. Odd.. so I compared to my daughters pair. He was absolutely right. There's less fabric, thinner Velcro, a few less stitches here and there, and the fabric is thinner too. And the text is indeed smaller. See the pics I attached. Looking to the inside of the strap I discovered another prominent difference, the new pair has the strap and scratchy irritating edges sewn on the inside where it will rub the temple. This is not like the old pair, see my third photo. Also noted that the hook and loop surfaces have been reversed from the old pair. After posting my review, the manufacturer kindly sent me a pair of both the old (2018) and new (2019) models for my son to try out. The new model was indeed identical to the one I received and reviewed and the old model matched the construction of my daughter's. Unfortunately the new model did not pass the '6 year old kid in the pool' test. The new model would not stay on tight enough to not leak without the hook and loop coming loose and the scratchy edge on the temple was an issue. Your mileage may vary, but the new model didn't work for my son. I sincerely hope some of these changes will be rolled back in a new model for 2020 as both of my kids really loved their 2018 versions!

No hair pulling!
I can’t say enough great these about these googles. I got them for my 3-1/2 year old and they fit perfectly. He tends to have a larger head so I was glad to see they worked so well. With his other goggles, they would get caught in his hair but these go on so easily. I never have to worry about pulling his hair. Also don’t seem to fog up on him which is great.

I recommend for 5 year olds
After some research, I purchased these to give to my son for his 5th birthday. He hates water in his eyes. But, he really likes to swim. He started daily swim lessons and needed a pair of goggles that were easier to put on and off since lessons don't include parents in the pool area for his age group. He does put them on upside down sometimes; I put them on correctly for him then he can slide them up and down his forehead as needed. The strap material is soft and doesn't snag his hair. However, he complains that the eye lenses/goggles are too shallow. He didn't describe the problem this way because he isn't that articulate yet but I can see his long eyelashes do hit the lenses. He does have long, thick eyelashes! I'm still glad I purchased these because of the strap material. They are a bit pricey but I want to feed his passion for swimming so this was one small thing I could do. He'll look for any reason to not participate in a sport (he is 5 and hates to try new things!). He does get a lot of compliments from parents and lifeguards. They look cool and green is a more neutral color and goes well with his 2 swimsuits I bought last year. Parents ask me all the time where I got them. They do seem durable. I expect them to last at least 3 summers/swim seasons.

Faulty product line?
I want to start by saying we love these goggles are will be forever customers. My 2 and 4 year old can put these on themselves without any fuss. I just hope our issue is a a singular one…I ordered two sets at the same time, the mermaid and the blue pattern. The blue pair didn’t last two months before it was stretched out and the stitching was coming undone. The mermaid pattern, which has been used nearly the same amount of times, is holding up perfectly. For $25 I was hoping to get more use out of them. In the pictures you can see the difference in quality. My kids and I love these goggles so I planned to reorder but noticed they’re not listed on Amazon currently. Bummer!

Comfortable strap that stays in place!
I waited a bit to give these a review just to make sure my son have them a good try. We have used them during his swim lessons (he is 4). He is still in the beginner class trying to get comfortable and familiar in the water. We tried the swim classes with and without goggles. Without goggles he was hesitant to really do anything due to water getting in his eyes. Goggles we bought at the swim lesson place fit his eyes, but the straps kept slipping down and would become distracting for him. After lots of research, I come across these. Now, the straps look a little intense and I was worried, "will this make my kid look like he is wearing head gear?!". But due to reviews I bought them and another pair of kid goggles by a different brand. I'll let him decide! So I get them in the mail and I think my son was patient enough to try both pairs in the bath. Unfortunately, the eye piece of the frogglez were just too wide. Sigh... He did say the strap was comfortable though. After a few days I decided to try and combine what he likes of the frogglez and his current goggles. I took the frogglez strap and attached it to his other eye piece! This was perfect! Today we had our 2nd swim class with them and he did amazing! He was so excited to tell us about how he could see under water. You could tell it was a huge improvement with him not having to constantly mess with his googles like the old pair.I would give them a 5 star if the eye piece worked for him and I didn't have to cannibalize the strap, but I am so happy I did. I am really happy to find these!

Well worth the money
I have 2 very young grandsons learning to swim with these. They are very comfortable and the boys put them on easily by themselves and don't mind them at all. The stay close on the face so the water doesn't flow in. The boys ell their friends to get them for themselves. Also - you can replace the eye pieces separately so you can use outdoor sun glass tinted or replace for inside with clear glasses part.

Doesnt fit my 6 year old well.
I should have read better on descriptions. I was just thinking it was the same since I was about to buy it on another site and decided to price match. This doesnt fit my 6 year old well at all. He does have a bigger head, but I didnt realize they made a bigger size. He has worn them twice now and it's always an ordeal getting them on. We have other goggles but he only wants these because they're green... hints why I picked the color.
