KNIPEXTwinGrip Pliers

Could not find description of "types" of dual materials on these handles anywhere. Now I can share.My gear wrench screw drivers have yellow plastic and rubber that feel like grippy rubber. These knipex comfort grip pliers seem hard plastic on the RED part. The BLUE grip area appears minimally textured at best. and feels like a hard rubber with little to no give when pushed on. Borderline at best, on rubber grip feel. Also borderline of bulky, yet more comfortable than dipped. Each style has it's purpose or application. Really a personal preference. These are great, well made pliars. Recommend highly.Auto tech. 40 years.

These have saved my tail so many times with stripped screws or tight spaces... BUT.. for the price I wish the adjustment wasn't so fiddly. They like to lock up and just not want to adjust at times. Maybe my unit is defective but they get stuck a fair bit. Also; be careful with hex bolts! These work wonders but if you let them slip on a tight fitting bolt they can get stuck with it wedged in the teeth, holding them open to max width and need to be hammered off like a wrench

As always, Knipex is king of hinged tools. These are no exception. I've accumulated a pretty legit plier drawer in the toolbox, full of Knipex stuff.Say it right: Ki (like kitchen) Nip - ExThree syllables.

These things are fantastic. More often than not I find myself grabbing these before digging for a wrench. They bite onto just about anything and hold tight. I've got the other pair with just the dipped handles and prefer the comfort of these. These are a must have in any toolbox.

Like the title said, these are nice. Feels great in the hand.

I've been using this for so many tasks, stuff it's not really designed for even. But it's great, does the stripped screw, broken head, bent fasteners as it's designed to, well, bit does regular plier stuff as well, and better than my slipjoints. The comfort grip is bulkier than I'd like, but that's the point right? Every Knipex tool I own is quality, always does what I've asked, and this is no exception. Get a pair, just do it.

I’ve been using many hand tools since 1984, yes, 39 years ago when I first entered the workforce as a trained and certified professional. Since then, I’ve tried many tools and innovative products, but I’ve yet to find any that truly compete with Knipex. These pliers are perhaps the best example. Once you get them and learn how they greatly improve your ability to quickly and easily solve problems, you will be a believer, as am I.Outstanding product!! 5 stars.

The third pair I've ordered. Kept two and gave one as a gift to my friend, a good mechanic with a deep appreciation for quality. These are bar none, the best pliers I've ever owned. The teeth are hard enough to bite into any fastener I've tried to break free and emerge unscathed. The screw removal tips are far better than their famous Japanese peers. These are the pliers that anyone serious about getting the job done needs. For the record, the comfort grip version is more comfortable to use for extended periods, whereas the regular handles are better when accessing the tight areas. Cheers!
