Fuel Injector Sleeve Cup Remove and Install Tool Set Compatible with Ford 6.0 L 6.4 L Powerstroke Engines 2003-2010

Tap broke off in the injector cup, nothing to center the tap to keep it straight also the tool’s thread gets all gulled up. I’d recommend not buying this unless you want to spend more money and time in doing injector cups. I went and bought one for 300 and bought a set of tap extractors hoping i can get this tap out which is costing me money since the trucks behind schedule. Thanks to whoever makes this tool.

tool is very poor quality. extraction bolt is so soft that the threads will round and not grab. the press caller collapsed into the injector hole and isn't long enough. had to cut the tip of the tap off to make it a bottoming tap. purchase another tap to start the threads then use the modified tap to finish them. this was the only way to get enough threads in the cups so the extraction bolt would grab enough material to do its job. I had to use a 13/16 1/2" drive socket instead of the press caller provided. also a guide sleeve is not included to make sure the tap starts straight. NOT worth the money.

Did not like this it broke. I ordered a second one and same thing.

Your product is not new, it is defective.

I need yo cut off the thread end that is used to remove the cup after it is taped. I weld the thread from a 3/4 NC bolt end on and it did all 6 cups left without gawling up.
