One long fast dance track with a few slow jams in between. It was all about having a good time and leaving the social and political commentary to someone else. They provided a safe alternative way to enjoy a momentary escape from the unhappiness in the world. A natural high without the use of drugs or alcohol. Music to move and groove by. GQ's original name of The Rhythm Makers fits them perfectly. Rhythm Masters sounds even better. They sang and played very well. This compilation brings back happy memories of dancing at the clubs on weekend nights for hours. The digital remastering is excellent. A 24-page full color booklet with a detailed discography is included.

I love GQ and quite a few of their songs on here. It's a very nice CD compilation 2 wind down 2 4 the slow songs and 2 get up and dance or exercise 2 the upbeat songs!

Great album with all the classic GQ Tracks

The Music is great in this 2cd edition from earlier recordings to their last ones, but putting 2 cds on top of one another is not a good idea,they should have used a double case..

La recopilación está bien , lo de poner los 2 cd uno encima del otro no me gusta pero es lo de menos,. Lo que si que .que molesta es que pagues sobre 20€ por unos CD's y el sonido y el volumen sea muy justo,por eso le doy tres estrellas . Aunque de este grupo no creo que vayas a encontrar una recopilación mejor.

Da ragazzino comprai l'LP Standing Ovation, che dire...splendido gruppo musicale anni 80 tra i miei preferiti. Consiglio questa raccolta di brani rimasterizzati per gli amanti del genere. Un grazie all'etichetta BBR che ha prodotto questo capolavoro e non solo ( su Amazon), consiglio anche l'acquisto della raccolta di Ray Parker Jr.
