Easy to Follow
I have read this book from cover to cover and love it. 3 diff. ways to make soap. I am familiar with the melt & pour and the cold process; but have never done the hand milled soap. All the recipes are easy to follow with ingredients I can easily get. I can't wait to try them.

Too vague.
This book is way too vague. For instance, she wants you to buy natural ingredients, like alkarent powder, but doesn’t tell you what color it will make. And there are minimal pictures to show you what the finished product will look like. She does, I think, make all the soaps and decoratively stack them up at the chapter opening page, but doesn’t tell you which is which. On her finished soaps, she includes fun details like dried flowers, but there is not one word on using them. From my internet research, I know some flowers turn brown. I bought this book to understand that better, but not one word. On the internet, I learn that melt and pour is very sensitive to temperature to create different effects. There is not one temperature in this book. Nor are there times. How long do you wait before you add your embed? When can you start cutting? No detail. She seems to have an axe to grind regarding having people use her all natural mystery color dyes. The book is mostly telling you which color dyes to combine with which essential oils. I bought it so my kids could have not independence making soap, They find the book thoroughly confusing. Am internet search would be WAY more informative than this book

Light on info and a repeat of authors other book
I wanted to like this book, but I’m returning it. I bought this and the author’s “Natural Soapmaking Book for Beginners”. Honesty, this book feels like a money grab from the author to put out a new book with a different title to get more book sales. This book doesn’t have anything new from the other book, and the price isn’t considerably different (not cheaper). I don’t understand the point of this book when the author has a better book that’s already been successful.

Not for beginners
As someone experimenting with soap making, I would not recommend this book for a beginner. It's just a lot of recipes and I feel like you have to have been making soap for a while to find this book very useful.

Easy to follow
I ordered this book for myself when I decided to try out soap making for Christmas presents. Content and instructions are easy to understand. They suggest ingredients that won't break the bank and you can use in multiple recipes. I would recommend.
