Very quiet
It is amazing product, very quiet, measurement on bottles are very correct, it even tells you in the app how much ml you have pumped. Very easy and handy. Best for working moms😍!

Pumps do not last without breaking - avoid!
This is my second Elvie breast pump now in 6 months and both have broken. The first just one day wouldn’t turn on at all (battery etc fine no water damage), second the suction has stopped working. These things are expensive! Try other brands ladies

Leaks
Product doesn’t work, pump leaks before the bottle is even a little bit full. Maybe it’s a faulty product. Wouldn’t recommend

Expensive and worthless
I bought the elvie pumps and also bought it for several friends that were due a few weeks before/after me. I have purchased 12 pumps in total and we have had issues with all of them. They are great at the start and start to work less over a few weeks until they become half as productive as they started off being if not totally useless. I have gotten in touch with the customer service several times and they keep telling me to try troubleshooting which hasn’t helped. They sent extra parts but that hasn’t helped either and when asked for a pump set replacement it was not given, which is a shame after buying 12 pumps. Would not recommend at all.

Lots of technical issues
Lots of technical issues. Starts working great but it doesnt empty the breasts well, when I started using it I would get 4-5 oz but later barely 0.5oz even though I would get milk with a normal flange set up. This pump works for some ppl but I highly dont recommend especially before establishing your milk supply as it has a very high chance of decreasing your supply because it leaves milk behind.

Definitely recommended
Yet expensive but totally worth it. Spend less time on pumping. Easy to use and clean. You can walk around, drive and do your stuff while pumping. A real time saver for me.

Third time breastfeeding and I am so happy to find the Elvie.. I used the Medela and it was great, just very tied down to a machine.. I then got the Willow and let me tell you why it sucked! Elvie vs Willow - the willow is much louder! You hear the mechanisms moving and have to walk around with a little motor rumbling in your bra.. Elvie has a very faint sound but all you really hear is the liquid hitting the container - when held side by side the willow and Elvie are about the same size. But when in your bra your breast is much more flush with the Elvie and has a much more discreet look - while pumping it’s crazy how smooth the Elvie is.. I have to check sometimes to see if it’s even on, but yup it’s working away you can barely even feel it .. the willow was a little more harsh no matter the settings (the Elvie just fits your nipple more natural) - the functionality is exceptionally better with the Elvie. You can change whether your pumping left or right.. you can switch from expression to stimulation.. you can set a timer! (willow doesn’t offer any of this) .. and the app is great and so far has been very accurate on volume pumped. - cleanup! Once again the Elvie is just better!! The willow has parts that are small and can be hard to get into, and if using containers instead of the bag it’s difficult to clean in the small crevices. The Elvie has an awesome container and it easy to clean and pour milk out of. - a major problem I had with the willow was milk spillage .. after you pump you need to flip this switch to seal it and then turn the pump over and after some time that became faulty and milk would just pour out getting the pump itself all wet. My legs drenched and sticky.. also if all went well with the flip, removing the container always spilled milk again. It’s messy!! The Elvie had me so in love when I realized it’s almost impossible to have a big spill. And with the container being on the bottom, it won’t spill all over the actual pump - as for the seal… the willow does allow you to move a little more (bending over and such) but if you keep the Elvie compressed nicely to your breast with no gaps at all with a bra you won’t have any spillage! - the willow only has a 1 year warranty (which I learned the hard way that isn’t enough) .. Elvie has a 2 year which makes me feel they are more confident in the product - oh almost forgot,, the Elvie comes with extra container AND a different size nipple flange (this cost extra for willow) - the Elvie uses a usb charger so it can be plugged in almost anywhere.. even the car. The willow uses a standard dc plug and makes it hard to charge on the go Being I just got the Elvie I can’t comment on the long term durability.. but I can already tell the Elvie is made way better and much higher quality than the willow Why I went to Elvie - I used my willow pumps for 4 months, they worked just fine. Stored it for a year.. went to use it again and one never turned back on and the other one worked for a few days after which a pin broke off of the pumping mechanism and is completely useless now. After calling and just being over my year warranty willow basically said TOUGH LUCK.

This broke within 6 months - make sure you buy from an authorised seller and not here where they will honour a warranty or just have better customer service in general.

This is my third baby, with my first I used a manual tommee tippee pump which I loathed. I hated the effort and how my hands got RSI from pumping. With my second I invested in the medela electric pump which was a lot better but still with many flaws, mainly noise, wires getting in the way and constant leaks leaving me drenched each feed. So for my new baby I said ‘stuff it’ and decided to break the bank by buying the Elvie. I am so glad I did. I don’t make loads of milk - I never have so that’s not the fault of any pump so I can’t comment as someone who makes loads but this pump does easily get what milk I do make out comfortably. The positives are; It’s quiet - it isn’t silent as claimed but you can have a conversation whilst using it and crucially you can hear the telly without putting the volume up to 11 It is hands free once it’s on and in the bra. I’ve used a hospital grade breast pump which didn’t yield more milk but did require me to hold the pumps in place. The great thing about the Elvie is that you can eat, hold the baby, stand up and answer the door etc all without stopping the pumping session. It’s comfortable- ladies you know how much your poor nipppes can hurt whilst feeding but the Elvie is very gentle. At first I was worried it would be too gentle to work but no, it pumps well without causing pain which is a massive plus. Once you figure it out, it’s easy to clean and assemble. The downsides; It’s design does mean that you have to lean forward somewhat to avoid leaks when you remove the pump It’s only suitable for cold water sterilisation - be careful here because I’ve read women have destroyed their pump by using heat to sterilise. It’s a bit annoying that I have to get tablets to sterilise but not a massive problem. Lastly it’s a shame it’s so expensive. Overall I really recommend the Elvie and am glad I don’t have another breast pump that I want to hurl across the room in frustration!
