My birds liked this better than expected! This is definitely just a kids play sink that the seller marketed towards birds but it's absolutely perfect. I have a tame, but fearful, Cockatiel and a lively Kakariki. I was nervous at first because it's pretty loud. Not crazy but enough where I didn't think my Cockatiel would use it. To my surprise, she loves it! My Kakariki will bathe in any bath but my Cockatiel only would bathe when I sprayed her with water. I bought this to encourage more bathing and to make less of a mess and it definitely worked! It took them a few days to get used to the sound but they did come around. Patience is key. It's a great size and could easily be used with birds that are a little bigger than a cockatiel, but not a large bird. I have used this numerous times and have not had any problems with the pump. It obviously won't last forever, but when it does stop working it's still very cute regardless. The yellow pump part detaches so if you just wanted to use it for a foraging box or anything else you could just fine. It comes with many plastic kids toys which I gave to my nephew but they seem perfectly fine for birds. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase! *Note it does not come with the batteries.

I bought a different bath for my bird she didn't want nothing to do with it. But this one she loves. She gets right in.

My birds absolutely love this bath. They use it daily. It is a great quality and easy to assemble and to clean. It was larger than I expected but my birds don't mind. It has pretty colors and the toys that come with it are great.

My cockatiel was terrified of this. Then turns out the box has kids playing with this sink. Not bird like in the advertisement. Yeah I tried for 3 wks. He would NOT go near it. And the water dies super fast. I only kept it on for like 10 mins at a time daily. It started acting up like no water flowing and I'd change the batteries and still nothing. It's a boo 👎 for me

UPDATE: Second pump is DEAD! Motor is non-functional, confirmed by bypassing the switch... Average of two baths a week since about August 18th, 2022. "Petlex," or, whoever the actual parent-company is needs to cut the price by at least half. These things do not last. I'll start off with the positives... The depth, length of this bath is IDEAL for my green cheeked conure. I purcahsed another version of what I think is probably the same product that looks more like a kitchen sink, (it seemed to be a childs' toy repackaged as a bird bath.) Thiat bath was WAY too deep and difficult for my bird to sit herself in to. This product, this "petlex bird bath for cage.." is exactly the right size. I fill both the main tub and the little basket with water, and she dives right in. Negatives... As I mentioned, I owned another version of this product which also had a "kitchen sink spigot" shower pump. The spigot from that other bath is compatible with this one. Not even three months of occasional use and that spigot unit FAILED! Just, dead as a doornail. I opened it up, nothing wrong with it as far as I could tell. So I chucked that one in to the trash, I'm using the newer spigot unit that came with this bath. I really hope it doesn't die, my bird loves it, she wants to bathe multiple times a week! Another thing... Even when brand new, the pump is very noisy. The only input I can give there is just... Make sure you keep fresh batteries in it, ideally want to use rechargeable AA's because it BURNS through them. Do not underfill the tub, if anything, you should overfill slightly, you'll get a sense of where the level should be.

Our conures love it. They didn't like the toys that came with it, but they love the baths and the shower.

This may say birds and yes they can use it! BUT it's not marketed for birds, it's marketed as a child's toy!!! There is no way to secure or use it in a cage except to set it in there. It just collects food and feces. You can't leave it running it eats up batteries quickly Plus no filter so the bird food plugs it up! PASS get something different.

This is a cheaply made toddler toy advertised as a bird bath toy. My lovebird LOVES water and baths and tries to get under the faucet anytime he hears it running. I thought he would love this. I’ve tried a few times to get him interested, but the motor is so loud, he refuses to go near it. The pump itself runs a few hours on each battery cycle (I’ve kept it running until the battery basically dies so my bird would get used to the sound, to no avail, but now I know they don’t last long). I imagine this toy will be expensive to keep if your bird actually enjoys it, because you will be replacing batteries often.

My Green Cheek loved this but even with taking absolute care with the pump it died July 23ird. I recieved it on July 12th. After each use I removed it from water immediately, dried the outside, took the batteries out and left the battery cover off to ensure it was dry in there (on the off chance water leaked in somehow) and even left it standing so any excess water could drain. Hoping the seller sees this and can maybe send a replacement pump. I dont have all the toy food pieces to return it even tho it's still in its return time as I gave them to kids when I knew my bird wouldn't need them.
