Toilet is a great replacement and upgrade from my old Kohler contractor grade that came with the house. Works extremely well and as is a flusing beast!

Nonstandard 3" + flapper will cost you $20 if you can find it (listed as "sold out" on Western website). Plastic handle and arm twists and won't flush (not even listed on Western website).The float tower, gratefully, can be easily replaced with Fluidmaster float, so at least that's readily available.

Fit retired people

This is the American standard of the modern era. Bold statement. Are the bolts brass? No. Is it double bolted? Yes. Nobody else is shipping brass bolts( you could change this) So maybe it’s not a 50 year toilet. I will change that when I rebuild it. Is it easy to install? Yes. I love these. I sell the tar out of these probably 200 this year so far. Why do I like them? Normal parts that are easy to find( you don’t have to order proprietary parts and you can find them at Lowe’s or home depot), low variability (consistency of parts across the brand), It takes standard fluidmaster fill valves. I’ll be able to order bulk kits for these and across the brand I’ll be able to fix them. I put one in my house. I replaced a 1932 toilet that I rebuilt multiple times and finally the parts weren’t available.

Stuff you wanted to flush sticks to the top of the bowl, even when wet. So you get to clean with every use. Buy a commode with a bigger bowl-- if possible.
