THis ironing board is definitely worth the money. It's very sturdy, and not clunky like my old el-cheapo board. It has rubber grips on the bottoms of the legs, and it easily adjustable from kids height to taller than me height - just pull the lever underneath for the right height. The iron holder is convenient too - I can leave the iron tilted on the holderfor ease of use, and not worry about the iron burning something or falling off the table. The cushioning density is perfect - it's like Goldilocks - not too hard and not too soft. Overall, a great board that has made ironing less daunting.

I bought this because the New York Times recommended it and they did not disappoint. I also bought it because my last ironing board squeaked so badly every time I opened it that my partner refused to iron anything. This one does not squeak! Although curiously he still irons everything on the floor. I have no idea why. But I love this ironing board. I especially love the extension stand for the iron that keeps it tilted upright. It’s very solid and sturdy and worth the money.
