This was a repeat purchase. I love this hot sauce and the price was right, cheaper than my local grocery store ever has it. This sauce is not overwhelmingly spicy, I find I can use it like ketchup, not like a crazy hot sauce where one drop will flavor a whole pot of chili. It has plenty of flavor to back up the heat. It is on the smoky side, if you don’t like that touch of liquid smoke on the back end choose the green version of this same hot sauce. I get both and love them equally.

This set is perfect for anyone who loves hot sauce with real flavor, not just heat. The Original has a tangy, slightly sweet kick that goes great on eggs and tacos. Rojo brings a deeper, spicier flavor with a nice balance of smoke and heat, and the Barbacoa is rich and savory—amazing on grilled meats. I have not actually had this as I buy this for my son. He absolutely loves the flavor. This is his favorite of the sauces. He puts it on everything.

Forget how popular this sauce is because of Hot Ones. If you like something sweet, smokey with a small amount of kick to put on breakfast tacos, taquitos, burritos, you'll be in love. If you care about the brand you'll buy this somewhere else, $18.95 for 5 fl oz is a war crime, it's just not worth the $6.95 markup.

These sauces are fantastic. The Verde sauce has a really good flavor and a nice spicy kick. The rojo sauce has a slightly tastier flavor and the same nice spicy kick. The barbacoa sauce has a rich smoky taste, with a slightly less spicy kick. It is now one of my favorite hot sauces. I highly recommend buying theses sauces. I'll be buying them again for sure.

They say it’s in the middle-of-the-road of heat and flavor (which it is), but it’s the peak of flavor-meets-spice! We’re talking sweet and mild with a nice lingering heat! The texture is smooth and not too smokey. This is your daily hot sauce that makes pepper heads turn their heads to shamelessly look at the bottle across the street. My only gripe is that the best deal is on a 3 pack, but TOTALLY WORTH IT once you taste it. It’s the kind of awesome heat and sweet that make you wonder: “Have I been wrong my entire life? Have I unlocked the secrets of the universe by simply having this delicious hot sauce?” The answer to both is ‘Yes,’ but not in a way that makes you feel bad. It’s the warm hug your food needed on those emotionally cold days. It’s the spice that truly nice with a welcome bite back. It’s the “everything is going to be okay” to the bland food your just-starting-to-use-veggies-in-everything recipes you haven’t perfected yet. It’s seriously ‘the one,’ and you can totally have it.
