Perfect Beach Lounger
This chair is perfect for lounging on the beach. With the adjustable settings you can go from sort of lounging, to really getting that beach lounge on. While it isn't the cheapest chair, with Kelty, you really get what you pay for. A very heavy duty chair that I spent hours in without any discomfort. The roll-up storage sleeve is amazing. It has a comfortable carrying strap that doesn't dig into your shoulder and neck the way straps on other chairs do, and it doubles as a beach mat to keep your personal items from getting all sandy. The chair dries out quick, and is a breeze to set up and pack back up. I have many other Kelty products from backpacks to tents to other camping chairs, and they have all been built well and withstood the test of time. I don't see any reason why this chair would be any different. Great product. ***One disclaimer is that the chair is really meant for lounging and laying back, so if you are looking for more of a camping chair to sit upright in front of a fire, or at a tailgate, or at a table eating/playing cards, etc....this is probably not the chair that you would want.

Not really that comfortable for us.
We ended up returning these. They are well made and obviously some people love them -- but they were just not for us. We just didn't find them that comfortable. First, there is a strap under your knee that has more tension on it than the rest of the seat so it digs in. Second, the most upright position was still fairly leaned back, and too leaned back to do something like sit at a table and eat. We were looking for something we could sit at a camp table at for eating as well as for lounging around. And third it's just a sling-type chair, so the shape of the seat and back are what they are - no support at all. And finally the arms were just kind of not-useful.

Yes, but...
Nice construction and nice carrying sack but:- It's not possible to really sit upright in this camp chair. If you like to super-slouch this is the chair for you.- In order to adjust the recline you have to get out of the chair and perform the adjustment then get back into the chair and test it so your seating choices are super-slouch, even more slouch, and max slouch.- None of the above options are comfortable for this customerI'd return this item but the box it came in arrived so damaged that I can't reuse it to send it back.

Bigger than expected
Comfortable and roomy. A little difficult to get out of for those of us over 65 since it sits low and is more of a bucket type seat. You have to move out to the front edge to stand up. I will be interested to see how it holds up to camping adventures. Easy to collapse and store in the carrier, but bigger than most folding chairs. I am not sure what other things the carrying wrap can be used for. No real suggestions provided, so only the future knows.

Definitely one for th' Car camping lounge lizards
Easy set up and solid.pretty comfortable, wide seat.Cup holders or a bit flimsy, very thin mesh bottom, can't be used for warm beverages, but OK.Reclining feature works well, but really only useful with something to put your feet up on to stare at th' stars.Packs up easily, especially compared to the ol' stuff sock style types.Heavy, Definitely not for backpacking!Great for a car camping fire circle...

Well made, comfortable, and attractive.
Love that it can be reclined and still feels solidly planted on the ground. This is a gorgeous color (blue & gray). It's comfortable and seems to be very well made. Sturdy. The insulated cup holder is a nice touch too. I will definitely be getting more Kelty products in the future.

Bought in May, broke by July
Don't buy this product. Others have mentioned--it's not very comfortable. The seam under the knees is really tight and cuts off circulation. Also the upright (non-reclined) setting leans too far back. We bought two in May and have used them maybe all of 10 times and one of them already broke. The metal strut holding up one of the arm rests snapped right off when I tried to get out of the chair. I'm only 220 lbs. A chair this expensive should last a couple seasons at last. I've had $10 Walmart chairs for the kids that take a beating that have lasted 4 seasons. Don't waste your money.

Leans to far back
It’s a very sturdy large chair made with seemingly great materials however it is uncomfortable. For lounging and laying back to look at the stars it would be great but if you want to be able to sit up and talk to others around a campfire look for a different chair.
