This thing works as advertised. It thawed my water line in just a few minutes. Simple solution to a frustrating problem. The process is really simple, Heat water, fill syringe with hot water, push hose into water line where you used to get water from. Repeat as many times as needed until your fridge dispenses water again. This product is worth every cent.

I was skeptical at first but I watched a few videos online on how to use it and read reviews. I tried changing the water filter that did not work. When I first use the unfreeze water line Buddy the water did not come out. I had to try it about 5 times. The fifth time I pushed up were there was resistance and it was ice it broke through, the line was frozen. The water started working again. Great product and price. Saved a lot of money versus calling a refrigerator technician.

BUY THIS. Our first home, and fridge water line freezes... This is a simple and elegant solution to a pesky problem, and I 100% recommend you buy this! I filled up a cup of hot sink water, filled up the syringe, and started flushing out the line. I put a little pressure on the hose as I was pushing the syringe plunger, and you can feel it slowly slide up the frozen line. I got pretty wet, so I would recommend putting a towel in your dispenser tray and on the floor to catch the drip. You know it's working when you start to feel a mix of cold and hot water on your fingers as it's melting the ice. Works great!
