This product is horrible. The buttons fall off. First time loading it, it shot out a dart that fortunately just hit the steel table I was loading it on. The safety is a joke, it's so hard to operate. The darts then selves are cheap, they are not true in balance or even straightness of tip. HORRIBLE PRODUCT AND DANGEROUS, DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!

So quality of the contraption isn’t great. I had to take it apart to get it to work. The plastic covers for it is worthless and dont fit. They fall off just by moving it. The darts could definitely be sharpened more. It’s impossible to load them by hand. Youd have to press it down on something really hard to get them locked in and set. But once I go that out of the way, this thing worked pretty freakin awesome. If you’re good at figuring things out to make them work better, the contraption is worth it. They’re more like knives flying at warp speed and they go pretty far! Aim is good as well. I stood about 15 feet away from a 4x4 post in the middle of my yard holding patio lights up, and it was a direct hit first try. Not hard to aim. Very lightweight. Like holding a pack of cigarettes and pointing it. Would be way better though if it stuck into the wood. The knives are thin but not sharp enough on the ends. Definitely fun to mess around with and the price is still great for the potential this thing has. So 4 stars

Shots great. But they are powerful

This product feels cheaply made. It doesn't seem suited to any sort of hunting I could imagine; It's not accurate past two or three feet. At regulation distance, the darts rotate a quarter turn and fail to stick in the dartboard. It's not really very safe either, I discharged a dart into the ceiling accidentally while the "safety" was on! I could have lost an eye if I'd been bent over it. Treat it like a loaded gun at all times.All that being said, the springs are pretty powerful, and it is pretty fun to shoot at a dart board.

This is one of those tough reviews. And by tough I mean very honest.I got this and I guess you get what you pay for but not worth $25 (and bought extra darts just in case it was going to work out, I am over $40. It’s not an effective form of self defense but fun to just shoot around. Wouldn’t recommend for kids though. More of an adult toy.

The safety on the item does not work. This can lunch sharp metal darts that do not shoot accurately at all, into your fingers while you are loading them. Or across the room into your flat screen television or anywhere else. Poor quality and very dangerous! They do not even shoot the same direction every time. Very disappointed! I also returned the two that I bought and they have still not issued my refund several months later.
