The beans are probably delicious but I will never know. The bag arrived split open and the beans are everywhere (see picture). Upon inspection, the bag is flimsy and made of paper, unlike the item description shows (resealable plastic).I'm sure if they keep shipping it in this flimsy paper bag, it will arrive split open and spilled most of the time. What are they thinking? Please stop this. I hate wasting food.

I have trouble understanding this product. Organic? Perhaps. But what I had delivered is massively perfumed, to the extent that it caused breathing and allergy problems. Who did it? Amazon? The producer? I don't know. I just know that I apparently can't return this and there is no way I will eat it. Perhaps the owner of this issue will fix it? I doubt it.

Thank you for providing sustainable black beans! These beans are meant to be put into either a pressure cooker, or a crockpot, or someone that can cook all day long. These beans provide amazing flavor and nutritional value. Please keep up the economical and sustainable value of these black beans to the consumer, who know how to utilize them properly, we value your workmanship. Thank you with gratitude.

I wanted these for sprouting, so I did a test sprout, and only 1/3 of the beans sprouted. My guess is I got old stock. They still cook ok, and taste great. They hold their shape even when pressure cooked for over an hour.

I have these on auto refill as beans are a basic in my food plan. Always fresh and delicious. Love knowing where they were grown and when they were harvested. Non gmo! Win win. Never have an issue with there texture or taste.
