The aviation themed bookends were packaged well and arrived undamaged. The model is a bronze-ish cast, artistic representation of a biplane with landing gear set on a wooden base, which may also be cast, painted to resemble darkly stained wood. The book end is heavy-ish, each base has four small vinyl or rubber pads on the bottom. The dark color scheme nicely highlights and complements my growing book collection. I'd buy another.

These are quality made! My fiance absolutely loves them he has been smiling since receiving them. They have a weight to them and are sturdy enough to hold hard covered books.

These bookends are very cute specially for a boy's room. They are very well made and the presentation looks great. However, they are not heavy enough and slide because it does not have the rubber feet that other bookends have. I could have given a full star review, because overall they are very nice and well made but the weight situation makes them hard to use. If you get them, you will need to get those rubber stickers so that it does not slide anymore.

Bought these as a gift for my husband. Was very pleased with them when they came in. I would recommend them and I’m very happy with my purchase.
