Works perfectly for my dogs water fountain bowl

I recently purchased this cat water fountain filter. The filter slips right into place in my Veken water fountain, and does a great job of keeping the water clean and fresh. I'm replacing it monthly but honestly it should probably be every 2 weeks or so.

Fits the water fountain and does a great job keeping the water clean. Small dog and cat both drink from this fountain (because they’re friends and sharing is caring). I change the filter about once a month, usually on the same day as the litter on the self cleaning litter box. The bits in the top of the fountain- the surface that gets licked- tends to have some hairs by this four or five week mark, but I don’t ever have slime or mold inside of the fountain where the water is stored and pumped from. I do use water that’s been filtered from the fridge… not because I’m extra fancy, just because it’s already ready already to be quickly poured into the critters fountain. These just work great for keeping the water fresh and the critters hydrated! I forgot to order refill filters and noticed a marked reduction in the amount of water the pets drank in the few days that the fountain was out of commission. Excellent buy.

These filter the water nicely in my automated watering bowl for my cats. I usually replace them about once a month, sometimes sooner if the cats decide to use the fountain as a paw washing station. I clean the fountain once a week to keep up with it and the filter looks good. No complaints. Would recommend.
