Perfect Fit and Easy Install
Went online to watch many reviews and videos, most of which saying you needed to take the top, front, and entire drum assembly out to do this conversion. That was far too much trouble on a new dryer to attempt, and some of the reviews said it can be done without removing all that stuff. They were right. Entire project took less than 30 minutes (because I really take my time), but could probably be accomplished in 10-15 minutes easily. Just follow the simple instructions that came with this kit, and all the parts are clearly marked.Pictures along my progression for you. One single screw to take out the original Exhaust Vent, pop out the side vent disc (carefully)(I used a file to smooth rough spots right after popping it out), Now you have 2 holes to work with (I just placed a small flashlight inside while working for visibility). Bed the little support from the bottom of the dryer base and insert the FRONT Exhaust piece into the front of the dryer exhaust port. You then just turn that Front piece a half inch to lock into the bottom support. (I then inserted a small screw into the connection (didn't say you had to) for more assurance it would stay together. Insert the ELBOW onto the Front Exhaust towards the side you are venting to. Then insert the SIDE Exhaust piece into the elbow and out the side. I then reached through the back (original exhaust hole) and put a few small pieces of Duct Tape around the spots that I could reach (mostly because the part where the Elbow and Side piece connect appeared to have a bit of gap). Marked the spot for installing the screw in the side and drilled a 1/8th inch hole, then inserted the original screw from the back exhaust removed earlier and tightened. Insert the supplied plastic plate into the original exhaust hole, which just snaps in place. Installed my dryer vent hose to the outside vent spot and done. I'm over 60, overweight, and bad joints everywhere in my body and I could do this pretty easily laying on the floor, so anybody should be able to do it. Enjoy, and hope this helps somebody.

Not as easy to install as I thought
Kudos to Sam Root (see his review) who was able to install this in 15 minutes. I was not so fortunate. I read the reviews before installing and decided not to remove the drum. I thought it might be possible to assemble and tape the internal exhaust assembly (right angle) through the 4 inch holes. However I could not find an orientation that would let me pass the assembly completely through either of the 4 inch holes. Part of the reason is limited space inside the dryer cabinet and also the mounting tabs (not shown on the image of the product on Amazon) on the exterior of the two straight sections of the assembly. In the end, I could put 2 of the 3 parts together and tape them before installing. The last part I added and then had to tape inside the dryer cabinet. This is quite a difficult maneuver. This took me more than an hour. Perhaps I'm just not skilled.I don't know why a mounting tab is added to the straight section that exits the side of the dryer. There is no screw hole for mounting on the side panel. I don't know if removing the tab would have allowed me to install the assembly as a single piece. The other tab is nominally used to attach to a tab in the cabinet, but I found that it was slightly misaligned after my installation. The installation was sufficiently secure without it, after I taped the exit exhaust to the cabinet panel.Sorry I didn't take photos. One other caveat is that the punch out may not be cleanly punched around the entire perimeter. I found a section that was thicker and required me to chisel it out. That is in addition to chiseling the tabs holding the punch out in place.I'm not sure that this modification is anything other than for aesthetics unless it is required because of installation space limitations. There is no reduction in the number of right angles and only a small reduction in the overall length of the exhaust. Overall, if you need to install it or don't mind the effort, than this is fine. Otherwise, you may not want to bother.

Easy to install
After reading some of the reviews, I felt it was going to be a difficult install. I followed the direction for my model that didn't require me to remove the drum. I was in and out about 20mins...I spent more time trying to remove the outside side cover plate. I suggest you set the dryer on a table to install it

You do NOT need to take apart the dryer to install this
There are other reviews on the internet claiming that this is difficult to install and that you have to take the whole back panel off. This is NOT true. I was able to very easily vent my dryer out the right side just by sticking my hands through the holes.I've seen other complaints that the are not the right size. It's thin sheet metal ducting, they don't arrive perfectly round, it is very easy to mold them back into round and make up/tape the connections. From opening the box to sliding the dryer back into place took maybe 15 minutes.

You will need to know how to take the dryer's drum out.
Not too hard if you know how to take things apart and put it back together again. The dryer's drum will need removed to access the internal parts. Remove the top cover, top front with control board. Remove front assembly to access the drum. Disconnect drum drive belt remembering how it is connected to the motor and takeup pulley. Lift the drum out towards the front using the belt. This will access all components. Just do the opposite putting it back together. Picture before and after installing the side exhaust. Note: Make sure wiring is not touchind the exhaust. I also used metal tape (use in heat applications) to seal the new duct.

Worked well for my dryer

not model specific
good quality metal but did not exactly fit our dryer.....it comes with extra pieces but none of them would line up with the "cutout" on the left side...I ended up cutting a piece off one of the extra pieces..about 2 inches and adding it to the vent pipe so the vent pipe would be square when exiting the machine
