Useful if you install LEDE
As another review says, this device has poor signal strength and reception. It can’t natively bridge WiFi to Ethernet. But let me put it a different way: this has the best signal strength and reception of any router its size. This may not be suitable to you. That being said, LEDE/OpenWrt brings all kinds of possibilities for non-router services. What could you do with two Ethernet ports and USB in such a shockingly tiny device?A few notes: When configuring the wifi interface as a client, make sure you set the channel to “auto” even if you know what channel you should be on. If you’d like to use it as a bridge, you will need “relayd” and to follow the directions on the wiki’s recipes/relayclient. relayd isn’t so bad; I get around 1ms of additional latency, and 50Mbit/sec iperf3 across relayd through wifi. Admittedly, the upstream router is ten feet away...)
