item broke on the first usuage

The disc on my Terratek that holds the plastic cutters snapped. It was only plastic. I hit a stone and then couldn’t use it. I ordered another from the seller I bought the strimmer from and it was dispatched quickly.I tried for days to get the old one off. Trying to reverse the screw that was already in so I could put the new disc on. Eventually I went to a neighbour. He placed the strimmer in a vice and turned it clockwise rather than anti- clockwise and it released ! First time that has ever happend. I thought turning clockwise would tighten the screw!But all is good now and my very handy strimmer is once again working well.

Bought this to replace a broken piece on my trimmer,easy to fit,bit expensive but did what I needed it for.

I broke my Terratek TCSBUN part so it is not covered under warranty (Which I understand). However, despite what they say, this part DOES NOT fit on the TCSBUN model (Which is why they don't show you the underside of it). On the TCSBUN model, it has a small circular spindle with a flat across (Making it a U shape). This component has a much larger square section, so it is bigger than the spindle itself, so doesn't spin when you use it!! Refund offered straight away, with no arguments (I don't even have to send the part back), but all my emails to Futura Direct to buy the correct part, are being ignored!!DO NOT buy anything from this company!!

The Blade Holder would be better made of metal although maybe it is supposed to break if too much pressure is accidental to protect the drive shaft, have had two of these broken and at 15.99 each can work out rather expensive otherwise works perfectly
