was looking dvr with bigger space and picked this. quality is great, no problem with recording quality, burning or speed, works great.

Each disc that I've used so far has performed flawlessly.

These are great dual layer discs for a great price. I had no problem burning them. (I've burned about 8 so far, I'll update my review if I hit a bunch of coasters or something.) I wish they had a different graphic on the front, because like another reviewer said, they look like they're being checked out from a library. Regardless, you cannot beat the price and the fact they're on Prime as well.I had a LOT of issues with burning softwares, but I really suspect that to be an issue with the many softwares I tried, not the discs. (As I had trouble with regular DVD's, too.) Thus, since I had to go through about 10 authoring programs to find one that worked and maintained good quality, I'll throw that recommendation out on this review as well for anyone struggling with software - I'm using the Sony DVD Architect 5.0 program. It wasn't terribly expensive and its far better than any other program I used.

This product, while sold under the "Smart Buy" brand, is really just a subsidiary of RITEK and so their quality is UNMATCHED!!!! EXCELLENT QUALITY! It does exactly as advertised and i have not had 1 problem yet with any disc.Everything works and does as is expected. I love this product and i will be buying much more from this brand and seller many more times over again! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED over ANY OTHER brand, except Verbatim (who are still THE BEST)!!!!The presentation of the writing area on the discs themselves is a bit lacking -- but very informative and allows one to remember later what kind of media they ended up burning it on. I just prefer a larger writing area without their own factory-printed and unremovable label text getting in the way ... This is the only downside to this product and it is a petty minor complaint at that. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT, other than that 1 petty factor.

To say the least, I wanted to burn an Astronomy Linux 19.04 .iso image to a DVD. Since I had not purchased any new DVD's in recent years I didn't know that things had changed. That is, until I could not burn this .iso because the file was too large to get burned to my older DVD's. So, next was to investigate what to do. I found out that now the added size of DVD files required the DL DVD's. I then when to Amazon to shop for DL DVD's. As you might guess there were a number of options with prices varying depending on the quantity and seller. I wanted to make a purchase that not only fit my needs but also to be cost effective. Smart Buy has this 50 spindle of DL DVD's at an acceptable price. I bought these. So far, my experience with using these DL DVD's has been very positive. I have not ran into any errors in burning to them. Therefore, I can definitely recommend them for any one who has the need for DL DVD's. Thank You!

could have been cheaper but they work no issues i went with another brand after this one though but i go through a lot of disc for my kids and grand kids

The delivery was excellent. The brand is usually great. However, this time I decided to order the DL discs. Sadly I only achieved 3 successful discs out of the entire pack. Every other disc failed during formatting or somewhere in the middle of writing to them. I purchased a new DVD writer along with these discs and it didn't help. So if you're unsure about purchasing the more expensive option, you might be better off opting for the smaller quantity/price first.
